Right in the busy Via Coronari with shops and restaurants, but we didn’t notice the noise too much at night. Ideal location for exploring Rome. Nice selection of food for breakfast and a rooftop area to look out from. We had the deluxe room which was small but adequate for our needs. If we return to Rome we will stay here again.

The hotel is an older style European that has been updated and except for lack of usb ports it was quite nice. The staff is great, the place was clean and quiet and met all of our needs that way. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a nice place to stay in the heart of rome with a great staff that will look out for the travelers they house.

As we checked into the TINY lobby, the 2 elevator thresholds and baseboards were being replaced. Workers, equipment and tools prevented any getting around at all. The room while attractive was very very tired. The walls were scraped up and need painting. The drywall in bathroom had gotten wet and was crumbling at the corners. I googled hotels with airport shuttle and this one was on the list. But alas, NO airport shuttle. It was quite expensive and absolutely not worth the money. It’s in a FABULOUS neighborhood but the hotel itself was poor.

We had a lovely stay at Coronari Palace. Why we recommend this place: -It was easy to communicate with staff via the Expedia app. They always responded in a timely manner. -Staff coordinated our airport to hotel transfer. We asked if they can help us with an airport transfer for us, which was simple and easy. The driver was waiting for us with our name at the airport, ready to take us to the hotel. They let us know ahead of time that we had to pay €80 in cash to the driver, worth it in my opinion. -Location was great. All the major sites were in walking distance. There was also a taxi queue outside of the hotel, which made it easier to get around Rome. -We stayed in the junior suite. It was quite spacious for just my husband and I. But it can easily accommodate more people. It had a mini living room with a couch, wardrobe, mini fridge and a separate space for the bed and bathroom. -Room was clean and the AC worked amazingly. It kept our room frigid which is what we wanted. Things to keep in mind: -The staff is only there until 630am-10pm (I think! Double check!), so if you’re coming to check in later than that or check out earlier than 630am, let them know ahead of time. -Bathroom was small and so was the elevator, but I think this is standard everywhere here.

Coronari Palace was perfect for our four days in Rome. Walking distance to all the sights but also close to main roads if you want to take transit or snag a taxi. The room was quiet and had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, and staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was also good with a few options for sweet, protein or savoury and a selection of tea and coffees were made fresh for each guest. We enjoyed having the roof top patio to escape the crowds in the evening with a beer or bottle of wine before heading out for dinner.
