Gorgeous place!

We loved every single thing about this stay - the host (Stefano) was incredible! He went above and beyond. Although, we called him only a couple of hours before our flight to Rome as we weren’t aware the check in was until 18:00pm he waited for us until 23:00pm and was very accommodating and welcoming. He even gave us so many recommendations although it was late at night. The room was stunning and super clean, the location was super - we could walk almost everywhere and if you don’t like to walk there is a train station and buses next to the hotel. Thank you so much once again and we cannot wait to be back again.

Maybe better in summer?

Domus Napoleone was well-located near Termini Station, a 10-min walk, and A & B Lines metro stations. It was an easy 3 short flights up. The staff were excellent: efficient, helpful, friendly, and responsive. Our room was clean and spacious. That said, it was pretty miserable in early December. The heat is only turned on a few hours in the evening and the room never really warmed up. There was only one blanket on the bed. A good wool blanket, but not entirely adequate for us late-60's seniors. This was particularly important as one of us was ill with a cold. It was warmer outside than inside most of the time. The table chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on. I bundled my scarf and coat for cushions. There was a mini kitchenette but no dishes or utensils. The late night noise levels were out of sight. Dogs barking as they were brought in and out of the building for walks at and after midnight, young people talking loudly and tromping on the stairs. It was beyond noisy (our room was next to the stairwell). I think this hotel may be fine even better than fine in the summer and in a different room, just not in winter, not for the older set, and we are generally healthy active Chicagoans (we walk about 6 miles per day and workout).

The location is convenient and close to Roma Termini and some major attractions. However it is a bit too close to some areas that some may feel uncomfortable. The room is very spacious given the price. Services are OK. You will need to read carefully the instructions for check-in. It's sometimes noisy when residents in the same complex walk up and down the stairs. There is no problem with other guests in the same facility.

Wonderful stay at Domus Napoleone. Stefano was very helpful and allowed us to check in early, which was great after a 15 hour travel day to Rome. Great location with walking distance to Termini station (main central station) and also a smaller metro station just around the corner. Was an easy walk to Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Rooms were clean, spacious, equipped with mini fridge and safe. Room was well air conditioned with remote controller. Mattress was a bit firm, but comfortable pillows. No obvious signage outside so pay close attention to street numbers and look at pictures of what the entrance looks like. Would stay here again if visiting Rome in the future.

The room and installations were very good. The attention by Stephan was beyond excellent, he was very accomodating at check time and was extremely helpful. Also the room was huge and the bathroom seemed recently renovated and looked great. The only issue may be with the television service, as they use SkyTV and is very choppy, dont know if the antenna is not configured correctly, but it was just a minor thing compared with the value for the room.

We were arriving late and Tassiano was very good about communicating our check in procedures. The room was clean, comfortable equipped with very modern bathroom. The Metro was only 3 blocks away & the main train station about 6 blocks away.

We had 3 lovely days at Domus Napoleone. The room was spotless and great communication from Stefano. Unfortunately we had very disrespectful neighbours in the next room who thought it was okay to talk loudly and sing at 02.45 and then play electric guitar with amplifier and sing at 04.55. Sadly to say this happened on 2 out of our 3 night stay. We would happily stay again. Thanks Stefano.

Great convenient location if you are planning to tour Rome on foot. Close to Train, and e-scooter hire makes it even easier to wander Rome. Very spacious! modern bathroom. Room is ideal for someone planning to just use it for sleep. The high roof and dark aesthetics will probably feel too dingy to spend too much time in. Bed was super hard, and only comes with sheets and pillows but I like that. No blankets. Stefano was very helpful with finding the place, checking-in and maintaining communication where needed. Felt safe. Left my valuables in the room without using the vault. (Not recommended anywhere, but very appreciative to know the cleaning staff respect your property at this place.) Surrounding areas may be confronting for ‘westerners’ not used to the street life, however the area was very safe. Locals and regulars are nice. Security is strong. Multiple doors to access for entry. Overall, great easy stay and very good for my 4 days in Rome (Note: room has No Iron, so be mindful of not crinkling your clothes)
