The Hotel is beautiful the rooms large & quiet. The Staff especially Domenica, Bryan & Julia at the Bar & breakfast were kind & friendly. Bryan was the 1st Bartender in Italy & France that could make a Shaken not Stirred Dirty Martini. Hats off to him. Making unique customer order drinks majed you a Great Bar. Still chilly in April but the hotel does not have heater. The bathroom floor is tile and really slippery when wet. The night staff we met the first night is a little rude. Breakfast is good with a variety of options. Rooms are cleaned every day. One day I left my necklace on the table and it was still there after we returned.

The hotel rooms were clean but very basic and in need of updating/maintenance. Our shower and sink did not drain properly and the shower leaked into the bathroom. The room was very hot and stuffy but we could not keep the window open due to excessive noise. Breakfast was decent with a good selection however, we would recommmend avoiding dinner there like the plague. Won't bore you with the details but after waiting over 50 minutes for our main course, we cancelled our order as it was late and our friends had finished their meals. The "manager" was rude, argumentative and extremely immature, totally lacking customer service skills. The hotel reception handled the situation well but I would recommend walking five minutes down the road to Ristorante Caselli Rosticceria where we had a nice authentic meal without being abused by some arrogant young man pretending to be a manager. The location of this hotel was not the best for convenience to the main attractions, its a good 40 min walknor 15 minute Uber ride, and the closest train station is 15mins away.

We had two stays within two weeks. The first room was delightful and spacious. The second room and bathroom were small and cramped. There were several different people that staffed the front desk, some were friendly, some were not. The breakfast was always generous with many good options to choose from.
