This is not a 4-star, luxury hotel as advertised. The rooms are below "basic" - there's no clock, no coffee maker, no shampoo/conditioner/soap (just all-purpose "shower gel"). There's black mold in the shower, and the bed mattress was so old/worn that only one side was firm enough to sleep on. A real disappointment, and a mistake I won't make again. Either pay more and go into Rome for the night, or stay at a brand-name chain on the airport; this place isn't worth getting to from the airport. We watched another couple check-out without staying - we probably should have followed their example.

The property is very nice, especially the restaurant and pool area. The front lobby has also been updated. Sadly, the rooms themselves have not received the same care and attention, and are in dire need of a facelift.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Food at the restaurant was very good and the pool area was too. The only bad thing was it rained on our full day there so we did not get to swim.
