From the moment I booked the hotel I had such great customer service! I always got a quick response to my emails & many questions. They helped me with transportation & tour company recommendations also. When we checked in we were greeted as if we were family friends! The hotel is so beautiful & was very clean. It is in a great location to many places. We truly appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome!

The property was perfect for seeing all the sites in the historic district, while being just tucked away enough to be a reprieve from the crowds. The staff alone made this a five star experience. We were always greeted warmly and assisted with care. I was traveling with my teen daughter and were able to navigate the area easily, with the help of the staff, using trains and the metro. Most sites are easily walkable and there are some lovely restaurants within a few minutes walk.

This is a perfect place to stay when traveling to Rome. Close to food, shops, train station, etc... but on a quiet street. Will definitely stay again.

Best choice ever!

If I am ever lucky enough to return to Rome, I will certainly stay at The Hotel Oceania. The location is very convenient to Termini and Metro lines A and B. The staff is wonderful. Housekeeping does an exemplary job daily - not just when requested. There are so many lodging options in Rome. You won;t be disappointed if you choose this one.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! I had such a fantastic experience at Hotel Oceania in Rome. From the moment I arrived, Carla and the team were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful—they truly made me feel at home. The morning coffees were a perfect start to each day, and the location couldn’t be better for exploring the city. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable—a real gem in the heart of Rome. Excellent location. Easy walk to train station. Very courteous staff with access 24 hrs/day. Great breakfast with breakfast to go our last day when we had to leave early. Elevator was small and slow.

Superb

This was our first visit to Rome and quite frankly the staff at Hotel Oceania could not have been more welcoming. Located a few minutes from the main station the hotel was a superb base for exploring historic Rome. In particular we would like to thank Mario and Francesco for their kindness and words of wisdom. In terms of value for money our stay was priceless.

The heat was not on in my room for 4 1/2 days. It was 40 degrees in the morning & 58-60 in the afternoons. There are large windows in the room that leaked enormous drafts. My room (a Triple with 2 bedrooms) only had 1 bed in it when we ( mom & adult child) arrived. They made a big deal about moving in another twin bed because we didn’t want to sleep together. (Duh). We were never shown where the safe was, comforters, blankets, Kleenex, extra toilet paper, and there is no soap holder in the shower. The bathroom window is not sealed at all & leaks cold air a lot. The noise in the building courtyard is bad & a group rehearses Opera singing on Fri,Sat,& Sunday evenings. On arrival we were offered bottles of water (liter & 16oz) without any notification of the cost of these items which would appear on our invoice at checkout. Breakfast was served in a completely controlled manner by the servers. It was a very “do not waste” environment. The whole atmosphere of this Hotel is a “do not waste a penny” attitude from the owner, who was pleasant when I met him. The reservations desk ordered a taxi for me to get to the airport when I left for the “bargain” price of 85 euro. It didn’t show on time (surprising?-no)). So we called a taxi on our app which arrived in 5 min & got us to the Airport faster than expected for 55 euro even with a very large bag. Also the double parking on that street daily & nightly is TOO MUCH!

This was a very nice hotel to stay and the staff was the highlight of the stay. They were very friendly and helpful and made the stay all the better. You are within 10 minutes of every main attraction such as the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, pantheon and coliseum.
