We tremendously enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Check in was efficient and informative by the friendly staff members who greeted us. We stayed in the Annex building and would highly recommend the rooms here. Breakfast on the terrace was excellent and many options were provided to help us fuel up for the day. The hotel offered transportation from the airport and also helped us get the same transportation to the cruise port. We would stay here again!!

Every morning we would wake up with bathroom sewer smell. So had to flush both toilets and open the window a little. The only thing gluten free for breakfast was scrambled eggs & some fresh fruit every morning. They had lots of pastries but nothing gluten free. Would have been nice to at least have 1 gluten free pastry option.

The hotel staff, especially Max, were very kind, very hospitable. The family suite in the annex was a fantastic location and perfect for our family with 2 teenagers. The balconies were fun to sit outside and enjoy the weather and life of the piazza below.

A Hidden Gem in Rome I recently stayed at Hotel Scatilina, and I can confidently say it's a gem in the heart of Rome. Located at the top of the iconic Spanish Steps, the hotel is within walking distance of numerous attractions, including a fantastic shopping district. The staff truly make this hotel special; they were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, making me feel right at home. While it’s a boutique hotel and not luxurious, the ambiance is charming, and the modernized bathrooms added a nice touch. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay during the warm days. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Hotel Scatilina for anyone visiting Rome.

Made the trip to Rome for the first time with our family of five. Having everything within walking distance saved a lot of time and cab fees. Rooms were spacious enough for the three boys and air conditioning was a life saver in the afternoons. Had a great trip and would definitely recommend.

Located by the Spanish Step popular spot, the hotel offers an excellent breakfast buffet daily. we visited Rome in July very crowded and hot, not the hotel fault

Very well located, great upgraded room with a balcony overlooking the whole city (this is not a feature of standard rooms). The breakfast had a lot of offerings, both healthy ones and delicious.

This property was in the best location. The view was breathtaking and our room was huge. I would definitely stay here again
