The hotel had the old Italian charm. Yes it is older, but it was clean and well maintained. The staff in the rooftop bar and restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. The concierge not so much. Our windows opened to a courtyard - very needed to improve circulation of air. Would stay there again!

I chose this hotel due to its 4 stars & location. Although I knew it was old style nothing prepared us for it's outdated rooms, overall faded grandeur and the misplaced grandioisity of the staff. Breakfast was okay but dinner did not impress and was quite bland. In summary the rooms are outdated and the carpets, furniture and all fittings have seen better days. The bathroom fittings are evidently old and our shower was caked in black mould and took a long time to drain...it was quite disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel. Just to note the rooftop bar and restaurant can only be accessed by four sets of stairs which is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Perfect location city center, close to Termini Station. Our Double Deluxe Room with a view was clean, pretty, and we had a wonderful view of Santa Maria Maggiore and Rome. Hotel staff were pleasant and accomodating, actually gave us our room at 10 a.m.! Roof top bar is beautiful and the included breakfast was outstanding with a large variety of food. Great place to stay !

The single room was very small. I was given a room on the first floor and when I asked for a room on a higher floor, I was begrudgingly given one on the third floor. The breakfast as very good, as was the breakfast service, but the restaurant and bar service was snooty, slow, and unresponsive. When I complained to the front desk, they just shrugged it off. I would not go back.

Efficient and friendly check in. Staff friendly. Room was quite tired and dated. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant but needed use of stairs to reach. On arrival, we were told where we were allowed to sit. Hotel seemed to prioritise customers who had booked for dinner over hotel customers. Breakfast ok but had to wait 15-20 minutes each morning to get coffee. Hotel is in a great position with eating and drinking options nearby

Location was great. 7 minute walk from Termini Station, hop on and hop off bus stop 2 minutes away, souvenir stands and stores everywhere, 1 of the four major Basilica churches across the street which was very beautiful and a must see. Property is dated but very quaint and clean.

From the moment we walked into the lobby, we knew that we would be thrilled with our stay. The suite we were in was beautiful and our own private terrace was absolutely stunning. We even got treated to a view of the historic church from which we got to hear the bells toll. All in all it was perfect

Room was adequate but small to our liking, but we had tons of luggage which made it a bit tight. The restaurant was very nice, but it was difficult to get them to seat us. We were there prior to any one there so I did not understand what was going on. Finally we got to eat a great dinner and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

We had booked this hotel because it was fairly close to the main train station, which we ended up not using, but it was still a good location - close enough to the Colosseum and a short taxi ride to popular areas such as the Spanish steps. We loved the buffet breakfast, which always had a great variety to choose from, and the views from the rooftop restaurant can't be beat!
