First of all, we booked the Navona Theatre Hotel (***) but got a room at Adrianus Hotel (**). Adrianus Hotel - it is a flat with three of fore separate rooms which is situated 300-400 m out of Novona Theatre Hotel. Very loud place, if you open the window. If not open the window - you can't use the conditioner in cold mode. As staff told me - the owner of the hotel does not give permission to use a conditioner. No telephone in the room connected to the reception. The reception is closing at 22:00. What was good? The room was clean and friendly staff. It is not recommended to book this hotel in the future.

Lovely room but very noisy

Lovely room, very modern and next to lots of bars restaurants. However these bars and restaurants are open until 2am everyday and then the bin lorry arrives at 6am to empty to the glass. Would not recommend if you actually want to sleep

From the moment we arrived at the property, we were made to feel at home. The rooms were as expected, could perhaps use some updating, but overall good experience. We were provided an overview of the surrounding area, given a walkthrough of our room, HVAC remote, etc. Since we had an early flight out the next day, they offered to prepare a box-breakfast for us since we were going to miss it. We've never had a hotel offer to do this in years of travel, and the box breakfast was delightful. Their service is as good as any we received in Italy.

When our taxi driver dropped us off as this alley where the lobby was, we were shocked because the lobby was down a dark, graffiti-laden alley and the lobby was just the only door down the alley....the girl receptionist was very nice and she said that we were going to be in the annex, which was 2 streets down, which she had us follow her down the street....our keys unlocked this large double-door that didn't have any sign on them as to being the Novana Hotel Annex, but it opened to a room with about 20 steps up to this tiny elevator...we had to lug our 4 large suitcases up the steps and go up the elevator to the next floor, and then lug them down about 15 steps down to the landing where our room was...our room key opened another large door to where there was about 6 rooms, and then our key got us into room #3...the room was very nice with a view down the street...it was very quiet until about 7:30 every morning to be woken up by another guest leaving their room and slamming their door shut...the doors sounded like a bomb going off, so we didn't sleep in at all the 6 mornings.....we had so many suitcases because we were on 3 different cruise ships in the USA and did a trans-Atlantic cruise from Florida to Rome and spent a week in Rome......NOW THE GOOD PART OF STAYING AT THE HOTEL.....the annex was the BEST location we could have imagined in Rome....we walked out the doors to a vibrant atmosphere of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, a pharmacy and Rome life!!!!...

This place was not the bacons theatre hotel. What a scam. Nowhere on the booking does it actually say we’re staying in a completely separate run down building a block and a half away from the hotel. It smelled like moth balls and mould. There was no concierge. They made us drag the bags without any help to the new building and then drag them back to check out only to be told we didn’t need to do anything because we prepaid. Even though we called to ask if we had to come check out a couple days before. This place had mold growing in the frames and walls the lights were burnt out the rooms smelled nasty and so did the building and the drains are backed up. It’s close to some things but there are so many restaurants right below so it’s super loud and stinky if you open the windows.

Hidden gem right next to piazza navona. Walkable to a lot of great restaurants and sights. We were able to walk to all the main tourist attractions in Rome with ease. Very clean and surprisingly quiet for the middle of Rome. Excellent stay

Large, modern and clean room refreshed every day with working air con. Fantastic location with lots going on in every direction, we walked everywhere within 5-15 minutes. Very helpful staff. We had a quiet room despite it being very busy around the corner. Hope to return one day.
