The staff deserve 10 stars, super friendly and helpful and responsive to needs. The suite itself was outdated, dark and gloomy :( The staff made it a positive experience.

Fantastic Stay at Soloto Monti I had a great experience at Soloto Monti! The property is beautiful, the staff were friendly, and everything felt welcoming. The location is super convenient—just a short taxi ride from Termini Station and also within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain. The breakfast was excellent, served on a lovely terrace, and they even offer free tours which were a great bonus. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

Hotel was fairly basic. We have stayed at several "apartment" hotels in Rome. This one was just ok. Now the staff was very nice and helpful! Apartment had one air conditioner in the kitchen that didn't reach the back bedroom. We roasted in July. Upon leaving we found another older air conditioner in the bedroom covered by a heavy drape. We assumed it was just a window. We received no info about the apartment and how to operate anything or this would have been avoided. Apartment was clean and towels were changed every day. We survived just fine. Just wasn't as nice as it looked in the pics.

My family and I almost missed our stay since the hotel or whatever this place was called, it had no sign or anything in the exterior. The room looked like it was set in the 1930 or 1940. The bathroom was set in ugly green tiles. It was old and gross. There were some mold on the wall. We had to hop over to get into the tub for a shower which was dangerous. There was an ancient kitchen in between the room and bathroom. There was not much amenities. The AC didn’t work well at night. There were bugs in the bathroom. Many times we didn’t get enough towels to use. NEVER COMING BACK!!

The staff was amazing. Especially Georgia, who made sure we had lots for breakfast and lots of coffee to start our day. She had lots of helpful suggestions for our group as we toured around Rome. Very sweet, friendly girl who made our stay memorable.

Very clean. Not a hotel with amenities.

The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. This is an apartment not a hotel - I didn’t realize what we were booking. You are off the main street so at night it was a little loud. 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. 20 minute walk from the train station. Not ideal if you’re with big suitcases. If you’re looking for something clean and nearby, this is a good choice. If you’re looking for a hotel with amenities, this probably isn’t for you. All in all good experience and very clean.

Good location pretty much in the middle between Termini Station and the major attractions such as the Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon and other historical sights and museums. Rooms were good size with large widows that open to the outside. There is a large rooftop patio with nice outdoor seating area and a great breakfast buffet, the host makes you coffee to order. The hotel is kind of a “secret hotel” there is not sign on the street, just the address by a huge beautiful wooden door. The building on the ground floor is dark and musty, the floors a lovely and colorful array of true terrazzo, leading you to the cutest antique elevator. Hotel on 3rd floor. Carpets in halls were dirty. Rooms overall clean but cheap building supplies used and water didn’t get very hot. But overall the staff was super friendly and our stay was great!
