Location was perfect, the man working behind the desk was great. Interior could use a paint job to brighten it up as well as replacing the toilet seat that is broken in half and taped.

Basic but very pleasent hotel in an amazing area.... everything is walkable from the hotel and for the days you dont feel up to walking there is a bus stop and metro within a 5 minuites walk.... a great base for exploration. The staff are very friendly and offered suggestions through WhatsApp which was appreciated. The shower size was ok which I was worried about from other reviews and i am 6ft 2"... The bed was comfortable and large as was the room.... The only improvements i would suggest is a mini fridge so you can store items from the shop over the road and have some cold drinks 🙂...

Really good location, walked most places and lots of eating options around, little mini market straight over the road that also sells good wine. The room is a good size and everything very clean. Be aware the shower is extremely small tho.

Great location and super clean
Lucky to have found rooms near all the attractions, unique old school gate and wooden elevator, concierge was quick, efficient and friendly. Advance travel information provided via WhatsApp for how to get to hotel, recommended restaurants, taxi costs. Rooms are clean although a few things could use maintenance like the shower head holder doesn’t stay in place, no hooks to hang wet towels

Nice staff and great area. But for the price per night it would make things more comfortable if you could spend a little extra and put a small kettle/coffee maker and mini fridge in each room. There is a convenience store directly across from the hotel which couldn’t really be enjoyed as we were unable to store cold goods or make our own coffee etc. Room AC & Wifi works good but hotel room was very dated. Staff and surrounding area excellent.

Staying at this hotel was truly a remarkable experience. While some may consider it a bit dated, we found its charming character to be reminiscent of living like locals. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the convenience of being just a 10 minute walk away from the Colosseum added an extra layer of magic to our stay.
