Assisted Living Hotel Trip Roswell NM
Terrible stay, I have stayed at many La Quintas over the years but never again. First off the room smelled of dog pee, one light fixture was completely twisted on its side and I had to fix it, there were small holes on the tv stand, the tv was UNPLUGGED so had to move furniture to plug it in, the bathroom door handles were falling off, the bath tub/shower was nasty, finger prints on the mirror durining check in, ac was not working and when i tried calling front desk the phone button for that service wasn't functioning. Once talking to front desk about ac issues I was told there is nothing they can do and to wait and see if it comes back on. Made it through the night and when we went down for breakfast it was sitting down to eat with a bunch of senior assisted living people, I am not saying anything bad about the seniors but really? Me and my wife were the only hotel customers trying to enjoy our breakfast having to wait for elderly to stop arguing about each other just so we could get to the waffle maker. We had the room booked for 2 nights but were up and out before 9am and talked all the way to another Hotel about the bad experience and how we will never ever stay at another La Quinta/Assisted Living/Dog Kennel again. Enjoy the photos and please for the love of every real Hotel in the World Stay away from this Hotel! The good reviews HAVE to be someone either living there or on something! Period!

The hotel was a huge disappointment. The hotel pictures on hotels.com are not an accurate. The carpet on our floor had bleach stains throughout. The elevator floor was dirty and smelled of pet urine. I asked the front desk and they mentioned the hotel is being used as apartment style living. Sorry I would not have paid to stay there if that was the case. Very disappointing

Disappointed in the hotel overall. It was old and run down. Furniture in the room looked like it was from the 70s and several drawers would t shut. The walls had spots and generally it was run down. The first day i didn’t get room service and the second day it was terrible and the room had a pungent odor. The rest of the room services were excellent. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

We got a room for one night. The hotel is a little run down. We were on the 3rd floor and the hallway carpeting needs to be changed out. In the morning when we went down to breakfast, we thought we were in a nursing home environment. Elders in their PJ’s some in wheelchairs discussing how the day was going. They all knew each other. Very strange.

The property is very dated and is in need of remodel. The property was dirty but the staff was good. I don’t recommend staying here, the pictures make it look better than it is.

The room carpet and bed was good. The bathroom and all common areas need to be cleaned, painted or replaced. The hall carpet and elevator floors are gross. The pool floors and walls are peeling plaint.

The room was okay, but didn’t like the bathroom configuration. The sink/vanity was right by the door to the room, and totally outside the toilet/shower area. Very inconvenient.
