I did not like this - upon booking my rooms online I selected city views however received garden views. spoke to the manager there was no joy in getting what I had booked. Instead got shown a room with car park views. Not on. I also called 2 days before checking in and was told that i had to rooms next to each other and one room across the hallway. However I got 3 rooms next to each other all with garden views. So someone has changed my rooms and given someone else my good rooms as we checked in late coming from overseas. Dont think will go back there again

General speaking it is okay, as it is old establishment, a lot of facilities is outdated. When I stay, I did see a section blocked out for reno, hope it will much improvement. I did opt in for breakfast, little bit pricy than surrounding hotels, food is just okay, no exsitement, but waitess is good. Much much better than the front desk staff. No smile, limited conversation. Overall I felt over price for this stay.

Beautiful hotel with great service.

Beautiful property and hotel, lobby and bar are very nice and the staff showed exceptional service. Half of the hotel has just gone under renovations, and we decided to pick a lake view room with a balcony, unfortunately this side of the hotel was not renovated and the room we were put it has a very large water bubble with some possible moulding that continued down the curtains. With a quick phone call they allowed us to move, still to an in renovated room, which was completely fine, but focusing on making sure there was no water damage or mould in the room. A very kind hotel employee came to offer looking at multiple rooms, but the first one he showed us was a great substitution. I would just suggest inspection your rooms for mould and not offering these anymore until the renovations are complete as it’s unsafe and unsanitary especially at the cost of one night. Thanks to Nori for showing exceptional customer service.

We received a warm welcome from Jason upon arrival who was friendly and provided useful information. We had booked a Superior Lake View room which was on the 3rd floor. The hotel is currently undergoing a refit but unfortunately our room had not yet received a rejuvenation and was quite dated, tired and definitely not superior. I'm sure once the update takes place the room will be a lot better. Even though the room is sold as having a lake view, the view of the lake was not great, with just a small part of the visible between trees. You'd really want to be on the 5th floor to get a good view. The bed was comfy but the pillows were a bit lumpy and other guests doors slamming and squeezing could easily be heard in our room. The reception area was nice and looked great as did the outside of the hotel. Breakfast was decent enough and all off the staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good stay.
