Our room was small and ver outdated. This was the most expensive room I booked on my whole trip, so was disappointed. Hotel has some charming qualities, hot tubs and pools were delightful, but didn’t care for the room.

A special place
Second time staying here as my children (and I) absolutely love it. This is a charming property and the historical elements are so interesting. The foyer is fascinating for children with the old fashioned phone and grand piano. Excellent location, easy walking distance to the park, lakefront and many restaurants. Very good breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable and pool is lovely.

Cool vintage hotel with a nice restaurant and pools. A bit of an older building so not super sound proof. Our room faced the Main Street and there was some noise from cars driving by and other guests. The room was also very small, it was hard to open up our luggage and move around the room. Staff was very welcoming and room was clean.

Classy And Worth The Price
I really enjoyed my stay at Prince’s Gate Hotel. The staff were very present with their service whether at the desk or the cleaning staff. The room was fantastic and very decent size, king size bed was comfortable, carpeted, and the bathroom was nice and I got good use from the bath. The facilities were great with heated pools and sauna as well as a restaurant, although I didn’t use the attached restaurant. It was located within 10 minutes from the street shops and less than 5 from pubs and restaurants. The car park on site was fairly small but there was plenty of free parking on the side street. Definitely worth a stay, even for the price.

Only problem with my stay was the incredibly loud music from a concert at the Sir Howard Morrison Theatre across the road. Other than that would be happy to stay again when no concerts are on!
