The Quest Rotorua Central Hotel is a beautiful Hotel right in the middle of the main city and only walking distance to all the lovely restaurants Parking available for free right in front of the Hotel from 5pm - 9am, but you can still park until around 10am without any fee’s, then free from Sat @ 12pm to Mon 9-10am, so great free car parking Hotel Reception Duty Manager greeted us 1hr after reception was closed and still checked us in with no dramas and he was so helpful, polite and profressional The rooms are big and it had everything, including washing machine & dryer for washing clothes, dishwasher, microwave oven, mini bar fridge, 2 burner electric stove, pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, drinking cups and glasses Air Con, nice bathroom with bath soap and shampoo & conditioner Me and my partner were extremely happy with our stay at The Quest Rotorua Central Hotel Thank you Dael & Reiel from Gold Coast, Australia

It was extremely disappointing to come All the way from up north, to get to Quest motel and be told we have no car parking ! Then have to pay an extra $15 per night (clearly they did have car parking) it is common knowledge that to use a motel and stay there you should have a car park ! How else do they think the majority of people get to their destinations? We were tired and had paid up front , it was late and they left us with little choice - so beware when you stay THIS Doesn’t come with a car park SMH

FYI the room does not come with a filled hot tub, which was a bummer because that's what we were looking forward to after a long drive from Auckland. The bed was nice and the room met our needs but the bathroom felt a bit dated. No problem though. Service was nice!

We had never been to Rotarua. Staff was amazing, especially when our flights on arrival got mixed up. Once we arrived, the area was a bit shoddy. Room seemed clean but spa and balcony overlooked an alley and warehouse. We did not use. I just didnt feel safe in the area, so we checked out after one day and went elsewhere.

Great Location

Good place. Nice that it is right in the cbd and walkable to all the restuarants etc. Parking would be an issue if traveling thru the week, so check on that if you are driving.

Perfect location, walking distance to Eat St. lots of places for shopping, there is so much to do inRotorua. We arrived o. A sunday evening, due to a delayed flight. When arriving to hotel doors were locked and not a single person walking the street. Had to wait to get keys to our room . Once we got in room was nice and spacious.

Centrally located

Room was nice and hotel is in the center of the shopping area and close to Rotorua attractions. Fine dining is extremely limited despite the multitude of little ethnic restaurants. Four blocks from Eat Street, which is very touristy and not high quality. Overall a good place to stay if you want to explore the Rotorua area.
