Lovely resort about 20 minutes from downtown Rotorua. A pity we did not have more time to enjoy the grounds (only there overnight). Limited dining options nearby. Beautiful apartment with nice, modern kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Friendly staff on check-in.

Unfortunately it was trout fly season when we stayed so the area was covered in trout flies. The accommodation provided us with insect spray which helped a bit inside. The pool and hot tub was too cold to use. Otherwise the accommodation provided full kitchen amenities and one of the rooms we stayed in provided access to lake

The place we rented was a 2 bedroom home. The unit was very clean and nice. The resort is on the lake and on a large piece of property. Beautiful scenery and sunsets. Restaurant on property was good. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Front staff was very friendly and helpful; check in was smooth and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. One suggestion: put some sort of air conditioner upstairs. The upstairs area was unbearably hot when we got there and didn’t cool off until the middle of the night, despite both fans and all windows open. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which have a great view of the lake. Definitely recommend the property!

Lovely two bedroom unit. Kids enjoyed watching Netflix. Upstairs bedroom was warm on a hot day as the air conditioning was only downstairs. We loved the washing machine/dryer however when on together it turned off the power. We loved the pool, spa and tennis court (a booking system for the court would be handy as it was popular and a 5 min walk to see if anyone was using it). Dinner was delicious - would definitely stay again! PS the receptionist was the best!

The property was perfect for a small family with a nice living area, small kitchen and a beautiful patio overlooking the channel. The outdoors, the beach and the restaurant were really good. However, there was a constant pungent smell in the room which refused to go away even after keeping the doors open and spraying a lot of room freshener. If not for the smell, this property would be perfect to stay in Rotorua. Note that the smell is not the Rotorua smell that everyone complains about. The property is way up north that outdoors is very good. Also, it takes a good 15 minutes to go to the town from the property.
