This is not a Hilton or Marriott, it’s a cute quaint motel. Something you would have seen all over the place in 1950’s and ‘60’s. The appliances are new and small but convenient. Room was comfortable and clean. The exceptional thing that really made it was Kitty the owner. She goes out of her way to see to your comfort and that you have a wonderful experience while you’re staying there in Rotorua. We are completely comfortable recommending this cute place to anyone.

Overpriced and shabby motel

The motel is pretty basic and a bit tired. Despite paying over $275 per night we missed out on a private spa pool. The games room and mini golf are not n dire need of refurbishment and there’s certainly no way any business would ever use this place for a conference. Its redeeming feature is that it’s opposite the luge. We’re the price halved I might recommend it but it’s a 2 star motel at a 4 star hotel price.

Comfortable stay with great location

Location is great! We had a comfortable stay and loved the private spa, but there's room for the cleanliness to improve. The electricity also went out during our stay, but the staff were helpful can got an electrician to come fix it quite quickly.

You get what you need. The bathroom was small with no counter space and it had a tiny sink. No hair dryer was provided. The front desk receptionist was very nice and attentive.

It was a motel pretending to be a hotel. We were not aware that we were staying in a motel unit until we arrived. Good facilities above usual for a motel. Serviced daily when most motels are not, but it calls itself a hotel or a resort. It is a motel with good and rarely encountered facilities for motels but we wouldn't stay there again. We think it should front up and honestly admit it is what it is.

Area nice and quite, property area and room are clean and neat. Stuffs are very friendly, great service. I arrived late, the restaurant was about to close but I need to get something to eat and the cook at the restaurant willing to cook up something for me and even delivered to my room. Wry nice people! Five stars for that.
