The staff were all very nice and tried their best to please everyone but unfortunately there weren't enough of them. Saturday evening there were two staff in the kitchen, the receptionist was trying to cover reception and the bar which resulted in delays at both reception and at the bar. The manager was trying to cover front of house in the restaurant and meals were taking over two hours to arrive. More staff are required as the delays were unacceptable.

All good with my 3 night stay originally booked with two bookings checked in Friday and staff sorted so I managed to stay even in the same room for the duration of my stay even though the hotel was very busy over the weekend didn’t use restaurant or bar so can’t comment I have used this hotel before and would use it again

It was ok. The only fault I paid for b&b to find out breakfast is late on a Sunday so was not able to get a breakfast before we left at 745 very very disappointing. Most hotels we visit breakfast is from 7 whatever day

A beautiful Victorian property, well located a short walk from the town. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bar was welcoming. We especially loved the breakfast, with hot and cold buffet food, it was wonderful. Good coffee. I loved that recycling facilities were available in the room, that's a first for me. The only negative I could say was that pillow protectors would be a good addition under the pillowcases.

Nice hotel. Lovely staff. Loved that there was free parking. Breakfast was nice. Room was small but comfortable. My main gripe was that the noise levels from the road outside was extremely loud until the small hours of the night, then again from 6am onwards. Also, it was just as well I wasn’t intending to sleep past 8am because the sound of people moving industrial wheelie bins was quite deafening. Rooms need to come with a supply of earplugs for optional use.

Great stay

Had a lovey stay, staff were friendly, room had everything we needed, great location and short walk to restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was great. Only downside was we couldn’t get a drink in the bar as there were no staff but probably for the best.
