Ten out of ten.

Although we only stayed two nights, from start to finish, our experience was nothing short of superb. Clean, lovely lovely attentive staff easy parking and brilliant breakfasts made it unforgettable. Another bonus was that it was only a ten minute walk to restaurants and shops. We will sure to go back.later in the year. For the first time ever, i will give this hotel 10 out of 10.

The victoria lodge was far better than expected the rooms were very nice and spacious with tea coffee hot chocolate biscuits every day beds very comfy and bathroom with shower was very good.the breakfast was excellent with everything you wanted and the staff were really good and very quick cant wait to go again.

A warm friendly welcome and soon checked in and guided to my room, 25, in the adjacent property next door. The room was small, but to be fair, no surprise when you think i had booked a single room. The room had everything I needed, all the tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries etc. A downside for me was the bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were hard. Breakfast was pleasant and the staff were friendly. A full offering and decent portion. Very little you could say wrong with this place, apart from my choice of room, which was in my control. A good alternative to the main stream hotel chains in the town.

Fantastic place!

What a treat we had! We are so used to staying a larger places that we have no real expectation. But it was lovely and quaint. They had oat milk in the room aswell as decaf tea which I never see anywhere! The breakfast was amazing, personalised to your choice. There was also a continental breakfast laid out to have on top of the hot brekkie. There was gut health yogurts and my fav Actimel aswell as the usual. Loved it!
