Nous étions rendu à Marseille le 23/07/2022, après un excellent séjour passé à Nice, pour visiter les Calanques. Suite à l'impossibilité manifeste d'avoir un hébergement AirBN approprié, nous nous étions rabattu sur la réservation d'hôtel sur Internet. Et nous étions tombé sur le site TRIVAGO où il était indiqué un hôtel situé à 9 km du Centre de Marseille à un prix que nous avions trouvé démocratique pour deux nuitées (entrée le 23/07 et sortie le 25/07/2022). Au cours du processus de réservation en ligne, une demande d'acompte obligatoire est apparue. Que fut notre horrible surprise quand le chauffeur de taxi Uber commandé à notre arrivée à la Gare de Marseille Saint Charles nous avait signalé que l'hôtel, en l'occurrence Hôtel - Bar restaurant Le Cesar, se trouvait à plus de 400 km de Marseille et non à 9 km du centre de cette ville. Il a conseillé de supprimer sans frais notre commande. Nous avions immédiatement appelé l'hôtel ( 33 4 73 35 80 15) une première fois (19:42; 15 secondes) sans succès et une deuxième fois (19:55; 7 minutes) avec un contact fort correct et effectif. Sur la base des explications que nous avions fourni, le commerçant nous avait assuré que notre carte Mastercard ne serait pas débité de l'acompte et que cela n'était donc pas nécessaire de bloquer notre carte. Nous avions suivi ces bons conseils dans la confiance. Toutefois l'hôtel a mangé sa parole en débitant notre carte de 130,00 eur. Une arnaque inacceptable pour nous !

Personnel agréable, mais les services compris ne sont pas présents. (pas de TV, pas de bouchon pour la baignoire,...) D'après leur site internet, l'hôtel a été rénové mais c'est toujours resté à l'ancienne. La situation est bonne pour visiter les volcans et la ville.

Hôtel a éviter
Hôtelier désagréable et mal polis me disant que ma réservation n'est pas valable malgré réservation non remboursable sur EXPEDIA.Fr . Il a tenter de me faire payer une chambre plus chère que j'ai refuser. Femme de ménage ouvre la porte de la chambre a 09h30 du matin alors que nous dormirons avec ma compagne. Je vous decommande cet hôtel.
