The hotel was just OK. It wasn’t great, but there are worse. I would say that it’s probably past its prime. Could use an update and refreshing. It is also way out by itself so it makes inconvenient for dining.

The room was large, clean and quiet. It was nice. Yet I guess I should have looked at reviews before I booked the hotel. Reviews show that the staff are rude. We felt that to be the case with the person checking us in on 9/27/25. He was condescending when we decided to remove bottled water from our snacks (Too late to have dinner). $45+ for crackers, cheese and two bottles of water. He did state that their tap water was safe to drink (in a tone like we were lower class visitors). One bad apple can spoil the bunch. I do not know if breakfast not being included was just because we got the room through Expedia. I did see before writing this that Breakfast was available (Not for all customers.) They did have $16 breakfast sandwiches available though. (Pass). I understand that kitchens are not always open. Many places recognize this by having fruit, cookies, muffins out for late arriving guests. They had Smore kits, but they were gone by the time we returned from putting our suitcase in our room. Wondering if that had something to do with our purchase of only crackers and cheese...

Great Weekend at The Jordan Hotel

We woke up to a beautiful foliage view. The room was nice, the beds comfortable and daily tidy service was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was a bit tight. The heated outdoor pool was a most delightful 84 degrees. The hot tub was 93 degrees and felt great. Unfortunately the step into the hot tub was about 1 1/2 feet deep and this made getting in and out extremely difficult. Luckily two gentleman guests assisted me and my husband. I’m use to an easy to step in hot tub. The pool area and workout areas were clean and there were lots of towels. At night chocolate, marshmallows & graham crackers were available for making s’mores at the outdoor fire pits. Also ingredients were available for making mocktails. Chocolate covered blueberries & apples were out all day to enjoy. These were very nice touches. The lobby had multiple comfy sitting areas and board games to enjoy.

An amazing place with gorgeous views. Staff was very helpful and nice. Thoughtful details all around the hotel. A lot of fun activitys for kids and adults. Unforgettable hiking paths that start from the territory of the hotel and a relaxing heated pool. We we're amazed by the evening mocktails provided by the hotel. We loved it there so much we extended our stay for a extra night. Thanks

The hotel is in a beautiful spot with views of mountains all around. This is basically a ski spot and we were there in the summer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Th pool is way too warm maybe for the ski crowd but not for hot summer days. We sampled only one meal, the. Breakfast buffet. It was poor to mediocre. Really disappointing for this quality hotel. There are some excellent eateries nearby, cheaper and better food.

It’s fine.

Overall a nice stay. It’s a lovely location, the staff are kind and attentive and there are some cute options within the hotel. The challenges were that the rooms need some updating, particularly the beds and the internet, it’s spotty at best. Also, for well over $200/night to still charge $25 for what is frankly a mediocre buffet seems a bit excessive. Luckily, there are much better food options in the area. Would I stay again? Probably, but not for the rate they charged. Would I get the buffet breakfast? No.

This has been our favorite hotel of the Sunday River area. We went in August and they had the pool at probably 94F, easy to walk in and relax for a while. Each night they had a nice diy drink setup with instructions. Each night the outdoor fire place was going - one night was marshmallows to roast.. the other night full on smores. Internet was fast. The room clean and quiet. Beds were spring mattresses which were hard to get used to from home. Front desk guy was very friendly and helpful. Valet guy was very friendly and helpful. Definitely check out the restaurant at the golf course for dinner if the weather is nice.. it is close and has a great view. The sauna and steam room were fun for my kids to try. I think the biggest weakness is just that the hotel is far from food options in the summer. Not every restaurant is open in the summer, and it's a 20 minute drive to Bethel where there are a lot of options but tend to be more expensive. We are a pretty small family, but the restaurants around the area seem to fine with splitting entrees for us to save money and not waste food. Definitely check out the gem museum, in bethel, they have some of the world's largest collections of moon and Mars rocks.

We had a nice stay here, the staff was exceptional. The entrance and lobby of the hotel are beautiful, but you quickly travel back in time when you enter the hallways and rooms. Everything was very clean, just a little outdated (bathrooms in particular). Walls are thin, we could hear our neighbors late night conversation and phone vibrating on the nightstand. Gym was nice, as well as the steam room and sauna. Grounds are pretty, there is a small hiking trail in the back. Located about 15-20 minutes drive to some great restaurants. Overall I would recommend.

We did not have a wonderful experience here. The room was not very clean, including a large sticky spot on the carpet, broken furnishings, cobwebs, and hair in the bathroom when we arrived. It was overall a very dated and not well-maintained room.The Northern Lights Cafe was the only on-site dining available and was very disappointing- we only made that mistake once. We also had to ask multiple times to try to get hot water to our room, which was never fully resolved. Over the course of four days, we never had a complete day with hot water. There are some nice aspects of the hotel, including nightly make-your-own-smores, some fun family games set up in common areas, a nice-looking reception area, and a heated pool. We really enjoyed the area surrounding the hotel for hiking and being outdoors. The people were mostly friendly and tried to be helpful, especially Emmit from maintenance. I wish we could say we loved it, but in the words of my teenager- we just had to stick it out and get through it.
