Comfortable Stay
My family and I were overall comfortable with our stay. I only took one star away due to the mildew in the bathroom. I feel that as housekeeping is processing the rooms to prepare for the next guest, an overall inspection of the condition of the room should take place to include checking for this. We did spray a bit of bleach and water on it but it really needs some attention. The staff were amazing.

The young lady at the front desk upon our arrival was very nice and cordial. The hotel is a bit worn and there are obvious repairs that needed to be done, like the crack in our shower tile or the rusted out toilet, but the hotel seems to be well kept. Our room was on the parking lot side and it was very quiet. The hotel is located right at the freeway, so it's very convenient to everything nearby, such as Walmart, restaurants, etc. If I had to return to Ruston, I would stay here again.

King rooms in advertisement had walk in showers only to find that only handicap rooms have those, icemaker on second floor broken, furniture stained and rough, refrigerator frozen over non-functional, breakfast was subpar as sausage gravy very runny like water, eggs seemed odd (not real?) honey buns were excellent fruit and yogurt were good. beds were comfortable.
