The staff was amazing. The shower area needed cleaning. The shampoo bottles had hair all over them. No tissues in the room or handsoap when we first arrive. A homeless women poop right next to our car in the parking area next to the hotel. The lavender packets were a really wonderful touch.
The lobby was nice, but there wasn't privacy at check-in. Hallway to room was clean and looked newly renovated.
First room had clogged toilet and so a smell that was not pleasant. While a new room was immediately offered, mood had fallen. Couldn't then turn off heating/fan in second room. Pretty uncomfortable. Should add that parking by valet was recommended after had to pay for self-parking. Maybe this should be communicated differently.
Great hotel. Staff was friendly and it was modern new and clean. The only negative for us was noise. The hvac system was very loud. There was a new digital thermostat but the heating and cooling was a loud wall unit. We could also hear all the street noise. Good location. Would stay again.
Very conveniently located near the Golden 1 Center. The bar in the lobby was nice, and bartender that made delicious cocktails for us was definitely a highlight.
Would give a higher review, but I'm noticing a trend of hotels outsourcing valet to very unprofessional services. This is a good example. Valet tried to double charge me and even after I corrected this they tried to do it again. They hold the car hostage until you pay. Hotel should fire this service if they want me to come back again.
