This hotel is in a bad location, there's no desk clerk, only the kiosk in the lobby.. no elevator and a meager breakfast offered. The room was okay.

No Frills, Not Great

The check-in was easy, although I don't understand why the actual person can't be there instead of a kiosk. I was given room 113 directly across from the ice machine, which was noisy at times. I emailed twice for help and the response was quick and very polite. A guide for the tv channels would have been helpful. My main complaint was a large clump of hair on the bathroom floor, which let me know it hadn't been mopped. On further inspection, there was more hair and debris in the rest of the room. The continental breakfast was very "bare bones".

Perfect stay ! Would recommend! Checking in was different but easy . Super clean comfy. Only thing if you don’t do stairs or handicap make sure before checking in or during checking in to ask if you can get first floor room . No elevator and three flights of stairs otherwise it was perfect place to stay at! Free parking and free breakfast!

Horrible. If you’re checking this place out because the low price caught your eye, please know that this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. No staff on site. Check in is done through a screen with a worker in another place. I knew I’d made a mistake when I drove up and saw the outside. It looks like a place in a movie where the cops go to investigate a drug deal gone bad homicide. There is no air conditioning in the public areas of the hotel. The rooms have a/c. The carpeting in the hallways is filthy. No amenities to speak of. There’s a McDonald’s in the parking lot. I wish I’d paid the additional $20 and stayed at another place down the street. 0 out of 10. Would NOT recommend. 👎

The room was pretty good size for the reasonable price. It took awhile to get used to interacting with a person on the computer screen but worked okay and it eliminated a longer wait. Breakfast options were very limited. Wifi, refrigerator and microwave were good.

Check in is with a kiosk with a person working remotely. I was unfamiliar with this process and had it not been for a sympathetic housekeeper I would have stood at the desk for longer. There were young folks being loud in the hallway but who are you going to report them to? The kiosk?

They do not have employees in the front lobby to check you in. We checked in on a computer speaking with someone from Columbia. There was no one on property as far as we knew to ask questions… The refrigerator wasn’t working properly. The Keurig didn’t work well, there was no ice bucket available, etc. At 10 PM someone knocked on our door and said they were there to fix the refrigerator. Apparently he’s been hiding in the back. While we checked in with someone in Columbia Zero on site help zero customer service The room was clean and spacious… But I don’t understand when hotels were allowed to vacate staff and let customers check themselves in and out and seek out answers to questions about the room

The room was clean and comfortable; furniture was never and in better shape than competition in this price range. But really disliked the virtual desk clerk. I had difficulty understanding person on video, and he in turn me. Check in was a frustrating experience. Had occasion for another virtual interaction - again frustrating. Were it not for this I would feel no hesitation in another stay.

All was well except for the strength of electricity. Was not able to charge my devices with wall and lamp outlets. Very disappointing. If I was staying longer than a day would have asked for service. But overall, all was great.

Liked that dogs are allowed and the size and cleanliness of the room with nice bed and upgraded decor. The room did not have cups for drinking coffee or water. The free breakfast was very limited with just toast, butter, jelly plus 2 kinds of Cheerios and milk. No fruit or other offerings. Budget friendly and fine for just an overnight stay for long drives.
