Property was very noisy. Received a very loud room. Mechanical and motor noises from the ceiling all night. At 3:00 AM there was a police action under my windows. This went on for about an hour. When I contacted management they said they would make the situation "right". Three phone calls and two e-mails later no return phone call or e-mail has been received. Management does not seem to care.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed

Planning a business trip to somewhere you've never been can be challenging. My research pointed to the Fairfield in Elk Grove and it was the right choice. They have what most hotels lack. A GOOD BED. Breakfast was also very good. Would certainly stay here again

Unsafe room doors.

There was a gap under the door to the hallway that was about 2 inches high. You could stick your whole hand right out into the hallway. You could lie on the floor and see under the door through the hallway and right into the room across the hall. This is a fire code violation and a privacy issue. Any sound in the hallway was very loud and sounds from rooms carried into the hallway as well.
