The woman working breakfast(didn’t catch her name) was extremely nice and attentive to everyone. Definitely a plus in the morning! The ladies working the front desk were also very nice and helpful.

Easy access to the trail and the interstate. Very friendly and helpful staff with enclosed property. They could do with some new carpet but they had a nice spacious room and the breakfast was first rate.

The staff here were always super friendly. The woman who does the breakfast in the morning is amazing!! Front desk staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean and in good shape. Beds are on the more firm. We were here for a festival and had an amazing time.

The property was conveniently located for the Golden Sky festival. They have a standard hotel breakfast which was nice every morning. The hotel is clean but dated. The beds need to be replaced. The bathroom has no vent fan, so it smells a little moldy, but no mold visible. The AC unit worked great, but rattles when on. There is a ton of homeless in the area, which is not their issue, it’s just an issue in general. The staff is very friendly. We asked a few times for more coffee for our room. We were told it would be delivered, but never showed. The lady that runs the breakfast area is incredibly friendly and a hard worker. She runs that area like a restaurant. Overall it’s a decent hotel and I’ll be back next year for the festival.

Concert stay for the win
We stayed for the Golden sky festival. It was perfect. Within walking distance. Jolene at the front desk was amazing. Made the check-in and check-out seamless. The entire experience was awesome. Thanks for a great stay.

Clean and comfy
Place is clean and well suited for my needs. Two complaints are that the water pressure is terrible, like absolutely terrible. And I wish there would’ve been a microwave but I made due. Clean bedding, quiet rooms, comfy beds, clean floors and amenities.

If you need wifi, you may want to look elsewhere.
I would like to give Governors Inn high overall marks but unfortunately the ridiculously poor wifi connectivity prevents that. Wifi would not connect to my devices (phone and tablet) inside my room. Had to take them out into the hallway to establish connection. And once connection was successful, it would repeatedly drop without warning and once again, would have to step outside the room to reconnect. There is much to appreciate about Governors Inn. I found the room clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast options were plentiful. But the wifi connectivity is so absurdly weak it is an absolute deal breaker in recommending the facility as a place to stay.
