I reserved a king and when I checked in I had to double beds. The room I stayed in on the 8th floor has the 3 dumpster's outside the window so at 4am your starting your day cause the trash truck runs and it's so loud when they are dumping them. The first day scared me to death cause I clearly wasn't planning on starting my day that early with a loud banging noise as if the building was falling

Highly Recommended

Charming hotel; rooms are above average, clean and comfortable; great location; great restaurant; outstanding service. Great place to stay if you’re in town for an A’s game. Pleasant 15-minute walk to the ballpark across the river- with plenty of pre-game dining and drinking options along the way.

No Parking

The hotel does not offer self parking, only valet service at $50 per night, plus tips each time you request your car. Street parking is metered with 1 to 2 hour limits, and the nearest overnight lots are about a 1/4 mile walk away, costing $17 to $30 per night. If you’re traveling with a car, this hotel is not a good choice.

Great stay, great customer care

Every single worker we came across was not only very nice but very helpful. I was not feeling well and my daughter left her charger in my car. They got it for me and brought it up to our room. The valet personal was very quick regardless of how busy it was. There was always someone by the front door greeting and seeing if you need something.

Not a Great Hyatt Experience this Time

First of all, we arrived and were instructed by valet to park our car on the red curb. Our car was left on the red curb for way too long of a period of time before it was moved to a parking location. Second, we arrived at check-in and our room was not ready until 25 minutes after your check-in time. We were directed to your bar but were not offered a complimentary drink to enjoy while we waited for our room. That would have gone a long way. Third, we went to a concert and when we arrived back to the hotel there was a long line and one elevator. Not acceptable based on your hotel location being attached to an entertainment venue. Additionally, your bar was closed as we would have gladly sat and enjoyed a drink until the line decreased. Finally, on our departure day my husband had bites on his body. We were concerned they are potentially bed bug bites so I contacted Christina that afternoon with hopes that you had not yet rented out our room to another guest and to request a refund for our room. She indicated that the housekeeping manager will have to inspect the room and I would receive a call back. It has been over 72 hours and I have not yet received a call back or any contact. Not an experience I expect from a Hyatt hotel and we are very disappointed.

The room was upscale, beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy. The lobby was cool, also beautifully designed and decorated. A quick walk to see the Capitol building, and then to dinner at a gorgeous Italian restaurant. The neighborhood was a little rambunctious this Saturday night,with huge fireworks blasting somewhere very near.

The booking was incorrect. It was myself, husband, and daughter. I booked a 2 queen room and they put us in a king room. No other rooms were avaibale. They did not have extra bedding for my daughter to sleep on the couch

The property was great the staff wa super friendly. Got valet parked immediately checked in right away. Beds were so comfortable. Bar and restaurant was amazing. Just wish there was room service during later hours. That would have been great. Other than that im highly likely to book another stay.
