We appreciated the very friendly and helpful staff, their welcoming of our dog and the hotel’s great location. Unfortunately, it was challenging to get a good night’s sleep between the bed with a sunken middle and the late night noise above us.

The train coming through every night multiple times. I would not have paid the price I did for the hotel for that location. I know you can’t control the train but don’t put a hotel across the street from it. Almost left the next day. I wish the reviews had stayed it.

Don’t stay in the rooms that are in the front. There is a rail road track and it’s impossible to sleep. Joesph was so nice he went above and beyond to change our room. Only issue was the second room was facing a wall but quiet.

What an excellent facility and stay on the UC Davis campus. We were in town for a family wedding, and it was centrally located to so many venues. As a family of five, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning (great coffee). I also liked the complimentary water and mint bowl (it's the little things, right?). The hotel was clean and well-maintained. Our room was exactly as pictured on the website and was very roomy. We would have loved to have had a microwave, but there was one downstairs in the dining area so that sufficed. We had to pay for parking during the week, and that is always an added expense. But we moved the car to the nearby art museum since it offered free parking on the weekends, which cut our costs down a bit. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. We will stay here again when we visit in the future.

The location of this hotel when visiting UC Davis is perfect. You can walk to many of the campus facilities and it is a quick drive into town plus it has easy access to the arboretum trails. They offer a great breakfast and the rooms are spacious. The overall facility is looking a little dated, but has nice amenities with ample seating in the lobby, around the pool and behind the hotel in the shade.
