Not great, but an affordable option

The location is right near the freeway, so it is noisy, but not the end of the world. The room was either stifling hot or freezing, hard to find the sweet spot with the heater/air. Pillows are just awful. I tried to ask for extra pillows and was told by the front desk that they didn't have any because the hotel was fully booked. I find that to be a poor excuse why you can't offer a guest 2 extra pillows. The breakfast had decent offerings. The coffee they served was pretty good. Our stay at La Quinta served its purpose as it was a convention location and affordable, but I would not return nor recommend to others.

Part of a longer college tour near Davis area. Perfect for our needs. But extra shout out to the staff for returning a set of headphones left in the room. They found and mailed them quickly. Charged card on file so was seamless.
