The pool was being remodeled and I wasn’t told that when I booked. I booked this hotel specifically so my child could swim in our downtime. The hotel felt a bit grubby.

My friend got married Sunday (Judd Wedding) One of the ladies at the front desk who checked us in was extremely rude. Sunday day of wedding we had to go find the wedding coordinator because she was not out and helping. Really upset the bride that the wedding party was in charge of setting everything up and trying to figure out dj and all of that. Beautiful venue. Staff was rude.

Don’t stay here

They left the window cracked unbeknownst to us, and we heard drunk people yelling and screaming most of the night. Also, there was no plug or nightstand (or lamp) on my side of the bed, making it difficult with my cpap.

Lack of communication on advand reservation!

We planned and reserved his trip a few months in advance. We had lots of down time (5 days) to spend at this location due to the nature of our visit. One of the features that we hoped to use was the pool. Unfortunately, it was under renovation. Even though it was a main reason to stay here, we were never told it would be closed. They told us at checkin we could cancel and find another hotel? Find another hotel when we arrived? At 11:00 at night? No compensation for lack of notification. Very dissapointed! For the amount of money, better communication would have served the public well. Many were dissapointed over this. TV's also have terrible reception. If just for 1 night no biggie but we were there 5 days so these short comings and lack of notification, mattered to us.

The front desk staff made a big deal about a service animal. The staff acted like my dog had personally offended them and their hotel. I was very embarrassed by their behavior and conduct in the middle of the hotel lobby/elevators area.

Downtown Folsom convenience

Good place to stay for downtown Folsom. Convenient, clean, safe and accommodating. Onsite bar and restaurant are nice to have when you don't want to go out.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel! I had read reviews on other sites that were really negative, so I I was nervous. Fortunately, we loved it and would go back. You can take an elevator right up to the historic district. We discovered a fun beach across the river/lake. There are two walkable bridges that will take you there. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel room was that the shower water didn’t get hot enough. Also, bedding could have been a bit thicker. Other than that, we were very happy. We took a trip to Placerville and to the Gold Bug Mine, and also to Coloma State Historic Park during our visit.
