Let me just say that this trip goes down in the books as one of the most epic failures on hotel stays. All the good reviews had to have been lies or friends of family. The hotel is in a terrible crime ridden area, the hooker 2 doors down from us was nice but a very unwelcome sign due to her open facial lesions and healing road rash up her inner thighs. Toilet seat covers were shelved open in the lobby sitting area, leftover microwaves discarded in the corner. Staff were oblivious to what rooms were available, he left us in the lobby to run across the parking lot to talk to the house keeper for over 20 minutes. There was no phone or alarm clock in our room, light bulbs were left broken in their sconces. You might wonder why stay correct? We werent able to cancel our reservation and the event in town sold out all hotel rooms under 500 a night. This place was 220 a night which Im still trying to wrap my head around. The finale was getting back to the property at yhe end of the night, locked out of a metal spiked fence. We repeatedly tried a broken intercom on the fence, then a key card entrance at the gate that was also broken, leaving us to scream for help over the fence hoping someone would hear us. We made enough commotion for the office person to come out to finally let us in which felt like over an hour.. This place should be ashamed they are operating like this, lying to hopeful guests.
