This hotel itself is OK but it holds wedding parties frequently. If you are not planning to be the party guest there, you'd better avoid it since it can be very noisy till midnight.
Also, if you arrive after 10 pm, you'd better to notice the hotel in advance. Otherwise, the door will not open for you.
We had dirty towels with other peoples hair on them. The bed linens had hair in them and I used what I thought was a clean towel to find someone else’s blood on it. The mattress box springs were stained. It was awful. We paid for two nights and ended up losing the money the second night because we cousin stay again.
I loved everything about my stay here! We stayed in the carriage house, and it was perfect! The bed was heaven, I loved that they had a big bath tub, and a spacious shower! The decor was beautiful, and the house was breathtaking! I can’t wait to come back!
The house was very quiet, serene and clean. The beds were comfortable. Be aware that the breakfast is just a light continental not a full breakfast. I would suggest the venue put hangers in the closet as I couldn't hang my clothes. Also, there is an iron but no ironing board so I couldn't iron the clothes I couldn't hang. The person who checked us in was not very friendly or welcoming,
The property appeared to be grand and beautiful. When i booked i did not know it was a bed and breakfast but i chose it because it offerred self parking. When we arrived we only had the address to go by cuz the sign was hidden behind an overgrown bush, we were able to park on street but confused on where the entrance was and how to get to a check in area. We finally saw a sign to ring doorbell. We entered a beautiful foyer and waited while employee disappeared into a kitchen area and returned with paperwork on a clipboard and keys. We had to discuss the concern that there were a lot of stairs and no elevator and my limited disabilities for handling stairs and where we could park. We were given a cottage behind the main building and dirwcted to a parking spot off alley way durectly behind kitchen and off the big patio where a set up was started for a party. It was 2 parking spots and we were asked to take the furthest one so their employees could complete set up. We had a key for room and a key to get into front door for a cold continental breakfast in morning. Although the accommodatiobs were made for my safety, tge room was comfortable and clean, but we did not exoect to be awakened at 6 a.m. to banging and clanging as they statted a new set up on the patio for the new day. We did not stay for the cold breakfast and proceeded to check out. I still do not even know if they had parking avaiable or where it was located.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location of this beautiful and unique Inn is unmatched, and the breakfast array is a huge plus.
This mansion is gorgeous, quiet, well maintained. Our room is extremely spacious. The only issue is the air conditioning. It is not very cool in the hot summer and the vents do not bring in enough air as they are old. There is a moveable a/c unit which is very helpful.

weird and lonely
It could be a nice place but there is no hospitality. I’m sure it’s lovely for a wedding, but they just rent out the rooms otherwise, so it’s empty. The sitting area was set up for a wedding planner, and later was closed off. So you just go to your room and you are on your own.
