The staff was good even if there was some difficulty to communicate(French to French). Room was okay, beds were not the most comfortable. Bathroom was discussing, the kitchen walls was white with black stains and the water from the shower was going all over the bathroom. We were not able to get toilet paper from the staff. It would be nice if the pool on the roof was having water in it.

Breakfast on the terrace is a lovely experience. The rooms are beautiful and the staff very gracious.

Small riad located outside the medina. You need to be prepared to deal with staff who can be quite persistent in trying to sell extra services despite our refusals. We eventually booked and paid for an airport transfer through them. They had also offered us a takeaway breakfast, which we never received. We ended up without transportation in the middle of the night, having to figure things out ourselves, and they refused to issue a refund

We could not recommend this Riad more. Omar was the most welcoming host and was so helpful. It really made a big difference to our stay, making us feel really safe and really comfortable. Nothing seemed too much to ask and our experience really would not have been the same without Omar. The property is really well located, within walking distance to the main square. The food and rooms were lovely and offer a great insight into the culture. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome.

Our stay at Riad Petite Karmela was lovely, perfectly situated within walking distance of all must see places, we did need transport to the Jardin Majoelle which is outside of the medina, the staff arraged that for us. The staff were wonderful, helpful and kind; the whole atmosphere was calm with a warm welcome, my daughter and I felt we were special and I think all guests could feel like that. The room was good, shower good, great hairdryer! the passage to the Riad entrance was lit and you were guided in and out to transport, if needed. The Riad staff made our stay so warm and memorable, courtyards to relax in, complimentary mint tea/water, ready smiles! I'd recommend arranging collection from the airport with them. Relax in Karmela Petite Riad and enjouy all that Marakech has to offer, it's unforgettable! Hilary Giles
