an older property that shows its age and lack of updates. In our room (in the carriage house) the carpeting is old, stained and worn, the doors use old school keys and are stiff and noisy to open/close and when we flushed the toilet, the a loud deep moan shakes the walls for 15-20 seconds and the wifi was unusable, wouldn't stay connected for more than a few seconds. The breakfast, while very good and homemade, lacked variety - it was same offering each of the 3 mornings we were there. That's not a strike against the property, just my opinion. I'll give the linens a 4 star, nice towels and sheets that felt like grandma's house. The staff was very friendly. As a side note, the area around the property is severely depressed, dilapidated houses, terrible roads, boarded up buildings and such, but that's more a testament to Saginaw, such a sad city. Again, that's just my observation, separate from my thoughts on the Montague Inn.

Overall we had a positive experience at the inn. It was very clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The beds were not very comfortable and we were unable to control the temperature of the room, so it was very hot at night. They do provide you with a fan which helped. For the price, we were happy to support a local business and would stay again!

Was close to things, but far enough from the dangerous parts of Saginaw. Place was quaint, the staff was nice. Our room had some issues witht the thermostat, but we eventually figured out how to keep our room cool.

Was in the upper floor of the garage, the windows had broken connnectors so the windows could not be opened without them flying open. This was only an issue as our room was way too warm. That is our only complaint.
