The good … comfortable bed, quiet location, great breakfast, inexpensive. The bad … while it says airport hotel, it is not. They advertise a shuttle service, which is really a deal with a taxi company to bring you to the airport for 25 Euros. 45 minutes + bus and tram ride into Geneva (this hotel is in France). Only one restaurant in walking distance. So … if you want to experience Geneva, stay in Geneva and pay a bit more. If you’re looking for value and don’t mind taking a bus and tram, this hotel is ok. Modern, you can tell it was recently renovated.

Villa Maia is in an amazing location, and was wonderful to stay at. The staff is incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful. The concierge is so knowledgeable and helpful. The staff bent over backwards to help us to have a great stay. Julian and Baptiste helped my daughter find an apartment to rent, while she is there for school. The whole staff is wonderful! I will stay there every time I’m in Lyon!

The staff at this hotel was particularly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was also great- just to the north of old Lyon, right along the river and an easy walk to most of the sites. The lobby and bar/restaurant area had a very fresh and recently renovated look and was a pleasure to walk through every day. The room itself was a bit dated but large and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Everything excellent except lift broken on the last 2 days (we stayed on 4th floor)

Clean room, great staff. The only issue is our room was a different part of the building and required me to carry the suitcases across the stairs.
