Outstanding hotel, with very exciting decor. The large car park in a quiet area is safe and easy to use. The hotel has a small, immaculate bar area and an attractive restaurant serving good, reasonably priced meals. The separate breakfast room is also good with an excellent breakfast selection of cereal, pastries, cold meats/cheeses and hot food.
If you need one night before visiting Monet’s garden (about 10 mins drive) then this is highly recommended.
It's a very colourful hotel and a break from the normal decor you may be used to. The staff were polite and helpful too, there was plenty of parking and the hotel was clean and welcoming.
If I have to find a downside there was no aircon (but very big windows) and no lift, so if you have heavy bags you may want to request a ground floor room.
Very nice hotel close to Giverny. My card was stolen in Paris and the check in person was very nice and accepted a new card and showed us to our room. We did not try the restaurant but it looked very pleasant. If you want to be a Giverny when it opens and avoid the crowd and the heat this is very convenient. Quiet and clean.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was clean and provided the very basics - a comfortable queen size bed, a closet, table and chair, a 3/4 bath w/shower. The breakfast offered by the hotel was an additional expense but was well worth it. The only drawback was that the front desk personnel did not speak English and we didn't speak French but all tried to make every effort to understand each other.
A very nice hotel. On the edge of town but still only about a 10 minute drive to the main attraction in the area Giverney. Rooms were not huge but more than adequate. Only flaw we found was only having a heavy quilt on the bed with no ability to change to a blanket. Reasonably priced for the area. We would stay there again.
The staff were excellent and the food in the restrauant was outstanding altogether a happy stay and if the opportunity arises again will stay at the Baryton
we arrived after a long drive, expecting to be able to book a table for dinner. the restaurant was closed! there was no other restaurant in walking distance so we had to drive into town to eat.there was no lift and our room was at the far end of a long corridor on the 1st floor. the proprietor spoke no English. there was no tea/coffee in the room. there was no English TV. - and the bottle of shampoo was empty!!
a very disappointing experience overall, and not cheap compared to other hotels we had stayed in, but typically French. will stick with Campanile in future.
The room was small, but very clean and tidy. However, the older woman at the front desk was very, very, rude talking to us close to yelling at us. They do not provide coffee pots in the room and the earliest you could go downstairs for coffee was 8:30 am

Clean and neat hotel close to Claude Monet Garden
We visited Monet Garden last Saturday, and checked in the hotel around five PM (10 minutes' drive). Hotel staff did not speak English but they were helpful to explain how to access the hotel after 10 PM and breakfast served in the morning ( with charge). We had a table reservation at La Gon in Vernon and it was very convenient to get there from the hotel (five minutes' drive).
We booked this so we could travel to Monets Garden/House. The train station is around 2 miles from the hotel. We waited at the taxi stand for an hour with no taxis. We walked with 4 pieces of luggage to the hotel. When we got there, we checked in and none of the staff spoke english. ZERO. There were 4 different staff members and 1 younger man was helpful and wanted to help, the others treated us awful because we couldnt speak any french. I used a translator app and they still wouldnt work with me. There was an older lady that was particularly rude. When we didnt understand her french she just yelled louder and louder and used hand signals...still couldn't figure it out. She called to get a taxi so we could get to the bike rental at the train station -- no luck. She said "non". Ok, we walked 2 miles back to the train station. The room was decent -- very small. The beds were comfortable but there was barely enough space for our luggage. We had to check out EXACTLY at noon or they were going to charge us 30 euros. The Hotel closes at noon -- meaning staff is gone, doors are locked, etc. I left my wife in parking lot with our luggage and hitch hiked a driver (paid him 2 euros) to get us to the train station. I would NEVER EVER EVER stay at this hotel again. Period.
Excellent value for money. They only speak French but are very patient with travellers trying to communicate in French. Amazing food at the restaurant [both dinner and breakfast]. Room was comfortable. Quite a walk to shops and railway station, but the taxis are cheap.
Nice little hotel. Friendly & helpful staff, though they didn't speak much English. Room was fine, a bit small, but probably typical. The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located if you have a car. The restaurant was pleasant and had a nice continental breakfast.
