This property was awful, it smelt so badly in the corridors and the room, floors hadn’t been sweeped in days and dust everywhere. We looked at the room and left after 20 minutes. It felt very unsafe as there is a separate building behind the hotel where our supposedly superior room was supposed to be, walking here was unsafe and the building was worse than a hostel or very bad council flats. Would never stay here.

It was a really cute setting and I felt super comfortable, however, I was disappointed that they didn’t have water to give guests and had to go to co-op to by some. I thought water was a basic essential in hotels.

sorry but wont be back fortunately only 1 night
last min booking - would not return. pre paid for b’fast - was not advised of time served nor quoted on any information at reception desk - 10:10 Sun am to be told b’fast ended at 10am. so left having nothing - will be requesting our money is refunded for this. reception desk at Hotel not always manned so difficult to get info you may need. Staff that we met were very friendly. Bed linen/towels clean & room lovely and warm but even thought booked superior double in desperate needed of refresh/repairs. Photos show in good state of repair/decor but that is not the case :-(

Although checkin time starts from 3pm but due to United game we requested early check in and they made the room very soon by 12pm. It was easy to get to Trafford from the hotel via Brooklands tram stop .

Terrible hotel, don’t go!! No one was working on the reception desk and we had to leave and come back hours later to check in. The room was filthy, dead flys stuck to the ceiling and dirty tissue paper in the bathroom. There was no hot water in the sink and the bathroom needed a clean.

"did the job"
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. As other reviewers have said the building in general needs updating. My husband found the toilet near reception very dirty when we arrived which wasn't a good start. Breakfast was okay although it said roasted tomatoes & they were from a tin. This overnight was booked very last minute & did the job for us but I probably wouldn't stay again.

We left after one night. No restaurant or bar as advertised. Toilet started screaming at 1.30am because it had a cistern leak and would not stop. No sleep was possible and staff appeared to go home. I’m waiting for my money back.

We knew the reception check in starts at 3 but due to the event we came very early at 11 am the reception gentleman asked us to sit for an hour then prepared the room very quickly by 11:45 . Very happy with their service.

Awful. Called at 10pm to say if we arrive after 11pm there will be a phone number on the door and we need to call that to check in. Called the number 20 times, nobody answered and then they switched the phone off. Ended up with nowhere to sleep for the night.
