The only reason i would give 1 star was communication with the owner. The place was filthy. Im not just saying dirty. It was filthy. The trash can in the room was full. The room was covered in dust. The bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. There were tampons in the bathroom. Stuff everywhere. Hair. Pee. It was gross. At 1145 pm while im trying to sleep the people upstairs ran multiple loads of laundry with a machine that shook like crazy so multiple times it was banging against the floor right over my head and i could hear the people upstairs loudly talking. I finally fell asleep out of exhaustion since i had been working since 6 that morning. I fell asleep sometime after 12 and woke up at 4 and just cut my losses. The fact that they advertise charging a cleaning fee is hysterical. Ill sleep in my car before i come here again.

Unsanitary conditions in common area. It appeared that there has been no housekeeping in weeks. Has a shared bathroom and common area. Basement rooms have no kitchen area and it appears that is where most guests are assigned. Microwave had splattered food that was old, refrigerator had leftover food that was old, shower drain was clogged and clumps of hair were on the shower floor, and the toiletries from previous guests were still cluttered around the bathroom. There were brown stains on the carpet that I was afraid to inspect closely. No temperature control in room which was hot and stuffy.

Unfortunately I has a vert bad experience The cleaning on this place was the worse that I can imagine . I can’t can have a shower. The bathroom looks so dirty w/hair on the bathtub no no. Horrible I really hope and the coment helps the owner to put more attention when he rent place the next time.

Cherry on Top is a great place to stay.

good place

Didn't know what to expect but the place is very clean and comfortable. The room was a bit small and we did not have an ensuite bathroom. No biggie. They are making improvements to the common area. There's a big fridge there and they are planning to put in a few more amenities there. Would recommend and/or return.

Everything I noted above. It was pretty far out there but, it only took less than a half an hour to get wherever we went because of the proximity to freeway and byway. Owner was very kind and available. The mattress was not what I was used to.

Having a key code made coming and going very convenient. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to many dining options. The place is "as advertised", but there are minor inconveniences when you need to share a bathroom and mini-fridge with other guests. Someone else left all their toiletries in the bathroom, leaving little space in the shower and by the sink to place any of our items. The mini-fridge was already very full, with various expired items inside and others left sitting on top. One other recommendation would be to have a few more amenities in the bedroom - perhaps a small table with two chairs and a small TV.

My unit was very neat and spacious with walk in closet and a big mattress maybe queen or king size. There's a full bathroom spacious as well, kept in good condition and clean with cleaning products and towels for my convenience. I can use a fridge and a microwave for my food. The place is well organized and very quiet the same as the neighborhood, the other guests are private and quiet too, which makes the stay very peaceful. The hosts are fast responding to all my inquiries, I highly recommend, this is a perfect stay for a solo person or a couple who wants to have their privacy and have some peace of mind.
