Our room had an awful smell to it when we arrived, and there were sauce (?) spills on door handles and sink knobs. It was weird, like it hadn’t been cleaned besides the bedding and trash. The hotel room was spacious and the bed was nice though.

When we first arrived I was told I had to leave a $100 incidental deposit which I am fine with leaving a deposit but that much for a rundown hotel 1 night stay was crazy. Then when we got into our room the furniture and carpet was stained, and the toilet tank was unstable and almost came fully off. The lady at check out was nice and super apologetic which I appreciated but I was mostly peeved by the $100

The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and welcoming during our stay. Sadly, they alone could not make up for where the property as a whole fell short. The Room: -The door latch lock had been repeatedly replaced poorly, bolt cracking at the base, indicating forced entry was attempted on this door. -Door would not close properly unless slammed. Malfunctioning door closer, however, ensured the door slammed hard enough to engage the latch (and present a safety hazard). - Suspicious faded white stains on the front/center portion of the chair cushion observed. Upholstery on this chair also worn and blackened from use/lack of cleaning. - Bathtub pan creaked excessively at the slightest movement. - Water pressure through shower head on any setting painfully excessive. - Tub faucet leaking excessively. - Toilet seat only secured with one bolt, causing it to pivot and slide. - Electrical cables for appliances ran to power strip tacked to the outside of the counter side instead of to two two-gang outlets behind fridge. The Pool: -Two ceiling fans observed blackened with excessive dust, grime, and potentially mold. -Ceiling drywall peeling off, rotted-looking. -Coating on air ducts & fire riser pipes peeling, exposed metal rusting. -Wall tiles peeling. Exterior: -Gate from parking lot to patio broken through to allow unlawful access to patio area. -Door at patio area would not latch and lock, allowing unmonitored access.

On the side of the night stand there were fake eyelashes from a previous guest. Beds were uncomfortable and sheets were itchy. Please change the detergent or wash them more frequently. The staff were helpful in recommending places to eat and knowledgeable about the area. I walked back from my concert to the hotel in 15 minutes.
