We have stayed there many times over the last 14 years. The so called renovated rooms were more like a cold hospital room. The floors were very dirty as was the elevator and hallways. The staff was pleasant but you had to go downstairs for anything you needed because there wasn’t even a hairdryer in the room.

Pleasantly surprised

The room was quite comfortable and spacious. The hotel was under renovation and I’m sure will be great when it is finished. The breakfast is minimal with some muffins, nutrition-grain bars and oatmeal packets. The setting is next to a beautiful walking train with a path to SugarHouse park. The downside was that the parking is minimal (but a garage is available) and the Chick fil a in the parking lot can be very busy making it tough to get to the hotel.

When we stayed there was RAINING, floor was wet so would be nice to have a "caution" sign in case someone slip and cause injury. Our room was OK, TV wasn't a good quality, bloory and hard to control Volume, so we stopped watching. The bathroom has been leaking from the faucet all night. We asked maintenance to fix it, and they came but did not fix the leak. Towels were like ... cleaning rugs, dirty and stained and very thin, worn-out definitely. need to change to the new one. Located by the beautiful park, wish the weather were good, we could have enjoyed our daily walk. And walking distance to restaurant and shoppings.

Parking is not good. Staff is very friendly. The dishes and things for the kitchen didn't look very clean when we got them. Renovations are happening which will make the place nicer. The room above us was leaking a small about of water into our shower. We really enjoyed the walking path that led from the hotel to the park. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping options near by.

There was a construction during our stay. The hotel didn’t inform us ahead of time so we could have cancel our stay. There was a water interruption during our stay and there was no water for 2 hours and we need to attend my daughter’s graduation. We almost got late because of the incident.

The hotel is under construction and there was no water for 2 hours. If it’s under construction, the hotel needs to inform the guests and they should cancel their hotel reservation. And the staff needs to inform the guest a head of time if they’re will be a water interruption during their stay .

The bed was comfortable, the 2 front desk agents provided good service. The walls seemed "thin" and could hear the next room and outside as the room doors are outside. The breakfast was minimal. There was a dark hair on the inside shower curtain. The fixtures were older.

Room key kept losing its ability to open room door. Staff rude. Construction going on entire property dirty. In my room the water flowed from the shower head even when turned off and when I asked to be moved I got "uh...I don't have anything and you'll have to talk to mgmt tomorrow. Terrible hotel. Less than one star
