Staff was great but the hotel was under construction and I was not notified through hotels.com . We booked this with several friends and with the gym , pool and lobby was closed there were no place to hang out with friends except the rooms.

We were NOT notified prior to arrival date that the Hampton we booked was being renovated into a Spark hotel nor that the ADA room we requested was not available. We left home at 9 am and did not see the email that was sent at 11:30 am until we had already arrived at the hotel which was I. A state of disarray. Front door was not usable and wheelchair would not fit through side door. Had to make other hotel reservations which cost us substantially more. Will not EVER use Expedia again.

Don’t do it. It is not longer the Hampton Inn even though it says it is online. It is now “Spark” and is under renovation which also is not stated online. We got there; the pool was closed, the kids were very upset. The place was a dirty mess. There was only 1 gal working the desk at 6 pm on a Friday. Stood in line for 30 + minutes while she checked in a tour bus of tourists. We ended up walking out and getting rooms at the SpringHill Suites down the road. I called and requested a refund, she was nice and got that taken care of for me.

Hotel being switched to a Spark by Hilton, so name did not match when we pulled in. Main lobbywas under construction, so had to gomin side door, not a big issue. We had booked this hotel for the amenities, a hot breakfast buffet, pool, hot tub, coffee in room, etc. None of these available. Our room had been renovated and was nice, nut not finished. TV not programmed, refrigerator not working, no desk chair and still had plastic and tags on furniture/ lamps etc. If their web site told of all this, would not have been so disappointing.

Hotel has recently undergone a name change, so it was confusing as it differed from my reservation. Breakfast bar was good but not kept stocked continuously when items ran out. Outside parking lot looked worn and not maintained.

Stayed one night while travelling through Salt Lake City, I had booked far in advance. Was very disappointed to arrive to find out that they were renovating. We were not given fore warning about this, as we could have gone to another Hilton property. The lady at the desk was not very welcoming and we felt like we were bothering her for service. There was a spilled drink in the front lobby that remained there for hours before it was ever cleaned up. All amenities at the hotel were closed due to renovations (other than breakfast was still served). I specifically chose a Hilton brand hotel because when I was a business traveler I found them to be clean, very courteous/attentive staff. Our room however was clean but we were woken up at 5 am by what sounded like a generator running. Very disappointed, I will not return to this particular hotel.

Just don’t.

Absolutely terrible. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so expect to be sleeping in an active job site, in an area of town that is over run with transient people wandering the hotel parking lot all night long. Piles of drywall, trash, open and exposed junction boxes. Unsafe and a total mess. A absolute pit as of 4/2025 and wouldn’t recommend staying.

They did warn me that they were under construction. I tried to cancel two weeks ago and they wouldn't let me do that. Because of general conference, and all the other things going on this weekend in Salt Lake, it would have been impossible to find another place on a Friday night. So, that was a little frustrating just because I had specifically inquired two weeks before. Hot tub was closed, which was something I would have enjoyed. Overall, the people are super friendly. Considering the construction of the building, our room and front lobby were great. I also don't like that there isn't a coffee pot in the room. I hate having to leave my room early in the morning to go grab coffee. Luckily they had coffee available 24 hours. I also liked that they had fresh cookies in the lobby when we first arrived. Soaps in the room were nice, subtle, clean smell. Breakfast was decent. Elevator was super fast! Your staff saved this stay for me....good job!

We were the first to stay in our newly remodeled room. It was great! Comfortable bed, clean and quiet. Liked the TV. Would of rated highest but we had not just 1 housecleaning person but 2 different times, try to enter our room prior to checkout time. Guess they were in a hurry to flip it. The desk staff were awesome.
