Very good hotel. Loved using the sauna. Room was quiet and spacious. Three things that disappointed me though, the air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, the room fridge wasn’t cold and the pillows were awful. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

Great stay at the Dorint

We enjoyed our stay at the Dorint in Salzburg. The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were welcomed by a friendly staff member at check-in. Breakfast options were plentiful. The hotel gym was a bonus. We are happy to recommend this hotel.

The room decor was very nice with music note carpeting as an homage to “The Sound of Music”. The reviews said walkable from train station but it was a fair distance and not too straightforward. We managed but just be aware. We felt we received great value for the price and front staff were lovely and accommodating.

The room was lovely but there was no chest of drawers to unpack for our 3-night stay. We were on the top floor and it was so hard to sleep at night and get ready each day because we were so hot! The air conditioner just could not cool the room down! The breakfast buffet was very good. We thought that it had a restaurant to enjoy in the evening, but it did not.
