🌴 Prime Location with Untapped Potential This beachfront property boasts an unbeatable location—just steps away from one of the most stunning beaches on the island. The views and proximity to the ocean are truly its greatest asset. However, the property itself shows significant signs of wear and tear across nearly every area and is in need of substantial renovation. With the right investment, well-trained staff, and strong management, this place could easily transform into a top-tier destination in Las Terrenas. The potential is undeniable—it just needs someone with vision to bring it to life.

Service was great, friendly, and they answered any question I had as well as helped out with all of my requests, appreciate the help of the staff! Parking was easy, across the street where the restaurant is located which is also where the beach is located, fairly convenient. Less than a 10 minute walk from the town and restaurants, one block away from a market/convenience shop. Overall, great and easy stay for the price paid!

It was my second time staying at Costarena. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The young lady who checked us in was very kind and responsive. our check-in process was smooth. However, our air conditioners were not working properly, and it took almost an hour for the maintenance person to come check-it out and that was after we went to the front desk to ask for an update. There was also an issue with our bathroom door. It would not stay closed. The hotel should make sure rooms are up to par with the basics before checking the guests in. Other than that, the rooms were comfortable and clean. We got the apartment unit and the breakfast was included. My first time staying at Costarena the breakfast was buffet style which was decent. Now, breakfast is served at the Costarena restaurant "El Kiosko" across from the hotel. The staff at El Kisko during breakfast time needs a lot of improvement and possibly to be retrained, they act very different from the rest of the staff. The staff was a bit rude and did not care to explain that the fruits and drinks were self-served which was hard to tell because the area was not equipped with plates and cups. It looked like it was part of the bar. The breakfast was very limited. The restaurants lunch/dinner menu has great variety available for purchase. The outside space is well maintained. The pool chairs and tables should be changed they're old. The hotel is in a great area easy to walk to nearby beaches and other restaurants.

I would say I didn’t like anything about the hotel, and yes I know you get what you pay for it but I have been in other hotels in the area at the same price with way better quality. In this hotel nothing work, I didn’t have internet, cable and the tv wasn’t working neither, air conditioner wasn’t working even know they try to fix. When I went to complain about the air conditioner in my room and with the two other reservation that I have with the same issues the receptionist was rude and tell us that we can go to another hotel if we want it, very unprofessional to make long history short, I would not recommend this hotel no even to my worst enemy, please stay away from this hotel.
