This is my fourth time staying at the Roadway Inn in San Angelo in the past year and a half. We used to stay at another property (for over 10 years), but decided to give this one a chance. We are thankful we did! This time was our second time also being checked in by James. He has made a huge difference in our experience with this property. He has been courteous, attentive, accommodating, extremely professional, and kind. Smiling throughout our Check In process. My boyfriend is taller than average (6’9”) and we both not only travel a lot, but have leg and back issues so a room that is quiet, closer to the stairs is always welcomed. James always makes an effort to assist with our physical limitations. Every single time with a smile and passion for providing a Customer Service experience we appreciate and remember. Thank you James! The rooms are also very well taken care of, very spacious, and clean. The property is mostly quiet and accessible through a nearby exit, somehow central, with restaurants nearby. In short, this property has now become our favorite in San Angelo; due in part to our check in and check out experience to the point we now choose it every single time (over others), when we come visit. Thank you Roadway Inn and James, for genuinely caring about your guests experience.

The room was clean. There was not enough kleenex - only a half-dozen sheets for 2 guests. There was no coffee available in the lobby. The price was good. The layout of the buildings is strange. I would stay again if price were the driving factor.

Room was not the cleanest but not terrible. But the atmosphere on the hotel... very scary. I was yelled at by some random man when pulling in, he parked his csr in front of mine ans started cussing me out etc. Did not feel safe to stay alone at all, very upsetting. I even left early cause i did not feel safe in that room.

Idk what to say..... if it hasn't that i had been driving for 15 hours, i would of gone somewhere else. I didnt even take my shoes off when on the carpet. Stains and dirt and smells. The shower looked like it had black mold in it. The towels...... i would love to show the photos i took. My body even had a rash from the bed. I slept in my clothes.... i wish i had just left, but i was so tired i no longer could drive. I would never ever stay here again.

We used to stay at this hotel quite often when visiting family when we still lived in Texas. But it has gone down so much since then. Our room was filthy, it was clear the carpet hadn't been cleaned in forever, there were stains everywhere, I found trash on the floor behind the door under neath the desk. The refrigerator was dirty. There were two towels and one hand towel and two washcloths for room with two beds that's supposed to sleep up to four people. These people just don't care anymore I do not recommend you take your family here, the two nights that we stayed we all left with a horrible cough from the air conditioner / heater. I wish I could give a better report because I really used to love this hotel, but I can't now. Don't stay here, I know I won't ever again.

The ceiling was peeling horribly and bits of plaster were falling all over the place, the sink had an enormous rust hole in it, and the bathtub was rusty and holey too. The sheets were stained and questionable. I know its just a motel but idk where these 7/8 out of 10 ratings are coming from... my room was like a 4/10 at most 😬 Front desk employees were very nice though!
