If you are looking for a quiet hotel this is not the place! The construction in front of the hotel is so loud they start 6am and go into the evening. There was terrible loud hammering in the floor above as well that made it hard to sleep. The location is great though right on the riverwalk near so many fun places! The staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious and clean! Hope next time I go the construction is finished.

Check in was easy, the room was nice. There was construction going on somewhere in the hotel and it was very loud in our room from around 8 or 9 in the morning until almost 5 or 6 in the afternoon. Sawing, hammering, banging, knocking, it made it difficult to discern whether or not housekeeping was at the door or it was just more noise from whatever room they were working on/in. The bathroom door's lock was broken which, fortunately, wasn't an issue but was dissapointing considering the price for the room. The only available parking was a 5 - 6 minute walk from the hotel which costs $35 after a certain time frame. Valet was an option but i opted out of that. The construction going on around the building made navigating difficult in a vehicle but i know thats not really the hotels fault. The 100 dollar nightly "incedental" fee, that will supposably be refunded, was a surprise but as long as i get it back there's no problem. The main issue was the constant construction noises throughout the day. It sounded like it was either the room above us or next door and was very annoying and made relaxing in the room near impossible to do during the daytime hours.

This was a pretty rough stay for the price point. We typically stay at the Contessa but I thought we'd try something different this stay. With the deposit, our King Riverview was approximately $500 without the valet cost. With this, we expected much more that what we received. Saturday night we came back late for relaxation, and the television didn't work. We called the front desk and they sent an engineer who couldn't fix it (he was extremely kind and respectful) and we ended up moving rooms. However the room we switched to was a room with two double beds, but the TV worked. We had dinner, relaxed and decided to make the best of it. At 8am, a LOUD BANGING AND SCRAPING noise starts in the room/area above us. This was not general housekeeping noise, this was a very very loud construction noise. So loud we could feel the banging in the walls. We could barely hold a conversation it was so loud. We decided to get up, shower and make the best of the day. At this point we found out our shower had minimal water pressure and the temperature was tepid at best. Now I am not one to complain but I think it's fairly obvious how anyone could be frustrated by this situation. When we were checking out, the lady at the desk said she would discount the room rate to the double instead of the king, but that has yet to be processed on my card. At this point, all charges to my credit card show $600 for a very very disappointing stay at this hotel. My advice is to find lodging elsewhere.

This will be my go to hotel for the Riverwalk

Although because of construction it was slightly difficult to get to (not their fault) check in was smooth, our stay was great and I have no complaints. Everything was clean and the shower worked well. I’d say the only small annoying thing was the people who kept trying to give me extra Hilton Honors Rewards by most likely selling me stuff or tickets multiple times a day when we’d walk towards the exit or to our room. I know it’s their job but 2-3x a day was a smidge excessive.

Came in for a concert and had a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Even with it being a Saturday and construction right in front of hotel took no time to get my car and valet was very nice. Perfect location with everything so close by. Would definitely stay again
