Lots of construction around the area, but very friendly staff. There were a few sirens around the area at night. This property is very walking friendly to the river walk and other must sees in the area.

Stay was very, very enjoyable. Every one of the staff we encountered was friendly, helpful and all smiles. Check-in was a dream, valet services were quick and on the ball and breakfast was really nice. Had variety of choices along with juices and fresh fruit. Had a couple of late nights on Riverwalk and felt completely safe walking in the area. Alamo is next door and even with all the construction going on it was clean and quiet in the evenings. Stay here and enjoy the Riverwalk area without having to drive… 👍👍👍

Overall experience was great, walkable to key attractions near dowbrown. The breakfast was excellent and would have loved if the parking was within the hotel. I had to use valet because I was tired after driving for 4 hours non-stop.

I liked the vintage hotel. It had been updated. The floors and ceiling were original and beautiful. The breakfast was good. There was a variety of food to choose. It is across the street from the Alamo. The negative about the hotel is they do not have parking. There is a pay to park lot next door and there is valet parking for 40 dollars at the hotel. It is all done by an app. I had trouble sing the app. I prefer being talking to a person.

The area is super tore up around the hotel and Alamo. Under construction I guess. Parking was quoted at a certain price but ended up being way more. I understand there’s a fee to park, but that amount is wildly ridiculous. Hotel was nice, breakfast not great. Staff is amazing, I left my glasses on accident and front desk was able to locate them for me so I’m able to go back. I appreciated that. I just had to edit this review because I’d mentioned the dollar amount of the parking.
