My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutey loved it! Staff was amazing. They were kind,thorough and efficient. The room was spotless! I loved being able to open the curtains to get a view of the city. The area is extremely walkable and very close to the river walk. Highly reccomend.

It was an ok experience. Granted the hotel was open 24 hour prior to my arrival. The staff was new, so it was a little bit of a challenge checking in and checking out. Overall, it was nice, very clean, and a pleasant stay.

Hip, Modern & Historic Hotel in San Antonio
My stay at the Kimpton Santo was superb. It’s in a perfect location in downtown San Antonio. I especially loved how the hotel is modern and new, yet incorporated the historic German school into the design of the hotel. In classic San Antonio fashion, the old and the new cleverly and seamlessly melt into one, respecting the culture of the city. The service, staff and dining are top notch. I also loved the 10th floor outdoor lounge with full service drinks, food and couches. The view from the covered outdoor lounge is very cool and the rooftop pool is just beautiful. This definitely is the place to stay when I come back to San Antonio.

Beautiful building and rooms, didn’t try the restaurant. Pool and gym where also nice. There is construction on the street, you have to go the back streets to get to the valet parking. They only offer valet, there is no parking garage or plans on building one per concierge, which is an extra cost. Overall, a nice stay in Downtown San Antonio.
