The whole hotel needs updating , the room smelled like mold , the bed was hard as a rock .. places in the floor felt like they would give away and fall through any minute. It’s not worth the 120.09 a night to stay at . Plus you get charged 25.00 to park ..

Staff was friendly. Beds and pillows haven’t been updated since probably the 90s. Stayed on the Navarro side, you will hear EVERY noise outside, just so you know.

Great place.

I always have a fantastic day at this hotel. It’s a small hotel so you don’t have to walk very far. It’s quiet it’s clean. The staff is always very kind. Sarah that works at the front desk was beyond helpful. She gave me everything I needed. Give me some good tips on places to eat and was very kind.

Misleading Pictures-Disappointed Stay

I booked this hotel based on the photos and description on their website, but unfortunately the room I received did not match what was advertised. Online, the room appeared bright, modern, and spacious with updated furnishings. In reality, it was much smaller, darker, and had older, worn furniture. While the staff was polite and check-in was smooth, the overall experience felt misleading. I chose this property based on what was shown online, and it was frustrating to find them absent upon arrival. Accuracy in descriptions is crucial for travelers, and I hope the hotel updates their website to reflect the reality of the rooms.

Excellent Hotel!

This is a fantastic hotel! Conveniently located walking distance to the Riverwalk and other attractions. Parking is a little tricky, but there is a parking garage next door for a fee. The room was very nice and comfortable. The front staff was accommodating and very friendly. This was our second stay here and we will be returning! FYI, all of the rooms on the first floor have jetted tubs. They were a little difficult for someone like me with short legs to get in to shower, but manageable. There was also, a coffee pot and cold mini fridge. See you soon, O’Brien!

Location was great, close to the riverwalk and easy access to get around. Love staying at older historic hotels. Receptionist that checked us in was awesome and very nice to talk to. Room maintenance and housekeeping was lacking. Found trash left under the side of the bed and the bathroom repairs (or lack of) on the ceiling were subpar even for an older hotel.

The stay was overall good. I’d say the parking was terrible. We parked across the street for less. I would think parking would be discounted. The common areas were very hot. We couldn’t enjoy the common area for sure. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I wish the rooms had better lighting.

Very interesting seemed creepy smelt like a funeral home. And the restroom showers did not have any shampoo or conditioner no wash cloth to wash your self. After a 5 hour trip I realized I forgot my stuff at home I definitely did not feel like jumping out of the shower to go ask these rooms should be ready for all guests

I liked the historic feel. Your website showed the balcony over looking the Riverwalk. Very deceptive. That was the main reason we booked with you. Are balcony over looked a parking lot. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom causing the whole room to feel humid and sticky. The AC worked great. Robert was great.
