I’ve stayed here numerous times before. It is a fair place to stay. However, upon check in tonight I was told of a new $4 parking fee. This was frustrating as it was hidden in the details. That should be covered in the price of the stay.

$4 per night parking and $100 deposit were a surprise. Room was supposed to have a microwave and fridge. Fridge but no microwave. Was told that microwaves were on the 2nd floor (we were on the 1st). Was told that one would be moved to our room, but never was. Room was fine. Bed and bathroom were ok. No drawer space anywhere. Carpet was pretty dirty based on my kids feet after walking around for a while. Water in bathroom sink struggled to get out. Seems like aerator needed to be cleaned. Door was hard to open. TV remote was super finicky. Breakfast wasn't that great. Mostly carbs: bagels, cereal, muffins, juice, oatmeal. There was a small yogurt bar that my family enjoyed, but nothing hot. Cold hard boiled eggs were available to be warmed in the microwave by the front desk. The dining area was pretty small and during the busy time it was hard to move around. There were quite a few fruit flies in the rooms. The staff did clean the room while we were gone so that was nice. The AC did it's job for sure. Was actually too cold at times. Better that than too hot. We did get to hear the fireworks from fiesta texas each night, so there's that. Overall it was a fine stay. The room was comfortable enough, staff was helpful enough, and the price was manageable. Hopefully my deposit comes back without too much hassle. We might stay again. It was in a very convenient part of town for what we needed.

First they requested a refundable 100 deposit why not sure? They also charged 4 dolars for parking, why not sure? Checked in, got the room go in there and it was a mess the beds were not made, abd there were roaches on the ground and countertops... Elevators and hallway ac was not working... Requuested to speak to manager and not available, was told sorry we are full no pther rooms available, we will jist give you a refund!!! And yes you can takk to the manager tomorrow morning wheneever he gest in! Had to get the front desk attendant to help me get another hotel for us to stay, she did find one available at the Spark dominion, got to the new hotel and what a totally difference experience! Clean Ac works No larking fee Only 25 dolar refundable deposit Room was cleaned Dare to say that the issue here and difference between places is management

Everything is good the only thing I didn't like, is the smoke alarm was beeping because needs batteries, we call at the front desk and they said that someone will fix the problem, nobody showed up. Also they charge for the parking space.

I never got a chance to stay or experience the hotel. I have stayed in previous sparkhotels. Specifically in Tucson,AZ, and it was great. I was still in Tucson when i booked the reservation in San Antonio and I had booked 12 hours prior to my scheduled arrival but they canceled my booking.due to overlooking issue when I was two hours away from my destination after driving for twelve hours
