We went for our daily walk at the Riverwalk and upon returning to our room, our room door was wide open. We called front desk and gentleman was argumentative and rude.

Location is great for walking distance to bars and shopping downtown. Staff was nice. FYI, parking is not included but it was still a decent price. Would stay here again.

We stayed there Friday and Saturday Saturday. We were moved to the second room due to issues and Saturday night. We got a bed. The manager Dennis does not seem to care and leave his staff to handle his complaints. We also paid $15 a night for parking and then they sold on the parking to the bar across the street which left us with nowhere. The whole hotel is trash and the manager is denying the bedbugs even though I have over 30 pictures and pictures of the bugs in the bed.

Room window unit noisy,doorextra lock above door broken,door hard to lock when leaving room most of all the pool was very dirty no maintenance done beer can lots of long hair trash net to clean swimming pool unattached from pole from days staying there no cleaning was done to pool water very dirty very disappointed.

This was the first time you staying at the red roof place and I enjoyed it. It was a great location in the middle of downtown San Antonio Antonio access to where I needed to get I loved it. I will be returning back.

Riverwalk on a budget

The Red Roof Inn Plus near San Antonio's Riverwalk is a perfect way to travel on a budget. It's relatively inexpensive. It's a $5 Uber ride anywhere in the downtown Riverwalk area. And the rooms were very modern and updated. I highly recommend this place and I will be returning again someday.

Dissapointed. The bathroom door wouldnt close. Super old building, you could hear everything from the street. The area is next to highways so unsafe, noisy, never coming back. Staff was great, but they cant do magic.
