The hotel we ended up staying at was clean, well-maintained, and offered a fair balance between price, location, and overall condition. It was a good alternative to the original booking at Riverside Suite Hotel. Unfortunately, our experience with the original reservation at Riverside Inn & Suite Hotel was extremely disappointing due to the poor condition of the property. We refused to stay there and immediately booked into this hotel. Despite the circumstances, Hotels.com did not issue a full refund for the Riverside Inn & Suite reservation, which was very frustrating. While we were satisfied with the second hotel, we are disappointed in Hotels.com’s handling of the refund process. We hope that Hotels.com reviews such cases more fairly and ensures that properties listed on the platform meet reasonable quality standards.
